What counts as a click?

I know that you need to use the cove’s “click link” in order to get the click but I’m still a little confused. If I use the arrow buttons on a creature’s page to go to the next creature in the cove, will that count as a click for the next creature or not?
And do the links in the click exchange count or do I need to specifically go click the creature from the other person’s cove?
Sorry if this is a silly/obvious question, I’m just confused.

I did read that, but I’m still confused as to whether the click exchange and arrow buttons from a creature’s Page use the click link or if it only counts if you click directly from the cove page.

Yes, the click exchange and arrow buttons do give your creatures clicks. Any clickable image or link to a creature generated by the site uses the "click" link and gives your creatures clicks.
