About the Monental Eggs:

The eggs are laid on plants near watery surfaces and real near dry places making them blend in with their surroundings and making them appear as water drops.

About the Monental Creature:

The Fire Caterpillar is one of a kind. The fire caterpillar is the stage right after the water egg. Its hatching method is very blasting one, literally. When ready, the fire caterpillar makes its egg explode, projecting it up to 500 meters away. Ranging from yellow to red with black highlights, it usually takes the color of fire. Pretty docile for her look, she can, as any other living animal, present aggressiveness when threatened. In order to defend itself against predators such as birds, it will ignite itself, dissuading anything from eating it. Fire caterpillars are one of the main causes of wildfires and burned fingers. When picking up a fire caterpillar, you must approach it carefully and offer it its favorite food: sugarcane. After eating and getting 10x its original size, it will bury underground and metamorphose in an earth cocoon.

When the Monental Pupa finally hatches from it's earth-like Chrysalis, it becomes a beautiful butterfly with light colored translucent wings. In this stage, the creature has the power to control wind patterns, and how calm or aggressive the wind can get. The creature always glows with a light-green aura which is hard to see in daylight, but is easier to see at night, making a beautiful light show in the night sky as they flutter about.

@achimenes Now this is definitely my sort of design ❤️ i love incorporating elements within creatures its always super cool and you and rashka have done this really well ❤️ I really love the egg's design for water the way it looks like its not completely full gives a wonderful shade balance ❤️ Gl to the both of you with this 😊

Lovely butterfly, I would love to have this if it gets made. I like that you can't see it well in daylight but lovely in the night ❤️ Another great idea 😃
