@ytsWhy does the pinkunk say it was stolen in 2012? I know of a creature that was stolen before then.

@yts I think @iia is asking about the first ever creature. Not user's first creatures. 😊If I recall right, I think @ian had said his first pet was a drakomo, which I can assume was the first creature on site, since he is the creator. However, it has since passed away. :v But as for what creature was first announced to the site, I have no clue. Pretty sure it was maybe 10 or more creatures all at once. Maybe you can ask Ian if he remembers what the very first species to be drawn by an artist was. The oldest living creature is Egg, who you can find on the leader boards.

@iia on the forum that the drakimi was announced, it said that the drakomo was the first creature/species on egg cave. The blog I’m referring to can be found here

I joined eggcave about a week after it launched. The only creatures available were the drakomo, salaslyke, crabbert, sparktail, flor, yeep, alkub, mekii, sorien, and diablos. Diablos were the rarest yet everything was available in the cave. Mysterious asteroid, SRC, cash shop, etc didn't come around until long after.
