My creature background not showing up; help with clearing browser cache

Im currently having a problem where i uploaded a travel onto my luminese but it won't show up... i have seen a page where it says help to clear browser cache but i can't remember where to find that... how can i clear that cache and (hopefully) have the image display behind my pet?

To clear your cache in Firefox go to the "History" dropdown menu, pick the option "Clear Recent History" and them make sure the "cache" box is checked. If you a different browser it should be similar but you can google how to do it to make sure.

However, one should not have to recache and clear browser data every single time a change is made. I have do this for each name change, travel change, etc. This was never the case before. Maybe you'd have to recache once or twice a year. Now it's every single change. I have done the recache and see the changes on the recache page but no where else until 24 hours later (and sometimes never!).

It's very annoying to say the least, but i'm still here after 10 years! 😱
Maybe something could be done about it though.

update: I just decide to turn off my ad blocker and poof, the changes I had made (and not show up) just magically appeared. So, ad blockers are reeking havoc, yet so are the ads themselves. 😱

Hello, I have the same problem, I cleared the cache in my Firefox but it won't worked!
I never had a problem like these... Maybe I have to wait?

What creature isn't showing the correct image? Did you add a travel (and what was it)? Change a name? Any information about what exactly went wrong would be a big help in figuring out how to fix it.

I think we might be having image issues again, like a few weeks ago?

I just grabbed a Reptvile from the Cave and the image is completely missing, which is what happened to me last time. Cache is cleared and it's still not there. I hope I'm wrong.

Some of my creature's backgrounds aren't working and one has a broken picture, even after recaching and clearing cache. I checked on another device and the backgrounds still weren't working.

Aaand... I did it again😊
I changed the background of my icon's creature and it's not changed - it shows the old background.
I cleared the cache (again) and it not help (again).
So i agree with @lokisonoflaufey - it must be some kind of image issue.

@pooh @lokisonoflaufey @emi804 fixed! Creature images are in the process of fixing themselves. There was an issue this past weekend in connecting to the new image server we just deployed.

There's nothing you need to do to get it fixed. 😊 It'll update within about 6-8 hours if you're out of date. Recaching images won't help speed it up.
