@jazzyleia First there will be a notice on top of your scroll saying that one of your eggs/hatchlings is sick. There will also a line on the egg/hatchling's page that says they are sick. If an egg is sick it will say that the shell feels soft. If a hatchling is sick it will say that it isn't as active as it should be.

@jazzyleia To view eggs, all you need to do is get a page where there are eggs/hatchlings. It'll automatically add ONE Unique View (Unique Views are obtained by getting someone, with a different IP address, to view that egg on a page). You can refer to dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Making_Dragons_Grow 😊
There isn't a specific amount of UVs that eggs/hatchlings need to grow, but I think around 300 UVs are good for eggs. 600 - 1000 UVs are good for hatchlings. Note that dragons don't need any UVs or clicks after they are fully grown, dead, or frozen. Only hatchlings can be frozen - this stops them growing up. The only eggs that are frozen are Leetles - http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Leetle_Trees.

UVs = Unique Views, OVs are Overall Views - these views SHOULD be more than UVs. OVs are counted by UVs + number of views on its page)

Also, when you hide an egg, it's best to leave it hidden for a day, or (quite) a few hours. If you un-hide it the moment it is healthy again, it has a big chance of getting sick again.

Sorry but the purple just evolved, I kind of didn't want it to because I had too many females already. Oh well.

Sorry again, I'll give you the next purple I get, also I'm currently egg locked, but hopefully I won't be tomorrow, so I'll try and get you that red Dorsal then, too.

@dreamer Just tried all my thunders and magmas that aren't on cool down and all I got was a hellfire. >.< Would you like something else I could try breeding now or would you like for me to try again next week?

@dreamer My sister can breed one for you. (@cfmtfm so you know. She's just finished her exam - we both had exams today for the whole of afternoon but mine was earlier ^.^)
However, her Magma is inbred, so she'll just be breeding Thunders (Magma is just there for summoning and "makes scroll look "impressive"; I personally am not collecting Trios right now). PM her if you want ^^

Is there something wrong with my dragon egg? I have 2 hatchlings, 5 eggs. It has over 6,000 views and only 2 days 23 hours left, but it won't hatch! I want to hatch it before 6 because I want to get a sunrise dragon instead of a sunet. >.< I'm putting it in ERs right now. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

"In order to get a Sun egg to hatch into a Sunset, they must be hatched between the hours of 6pm and 12am EST. "

Right now the Sun egg is in the window of time were it WILL NOT hatch no matter how high its views get. If you want a sunrise, take it OUT of the ER's and fog it. Then unfog it before noon EST tomorrow.

@dreamer Does it have 6000 UNIQUE views (UVs) or OVERALL views (OVs)? If it's UVs, it should be hatched. If it's OVs, you need about 500 UVs for it to hatch.
However, eggs like Guardian of Nature's, Trios, and metallics are known to need more UVs.
