Do I need a special...something?

When I go to the Mysterious Asteroid, do I need some sort of equipment in my inventory, like gloves, a shield, a net, a bag...anything special? It has to be a secret to get a dang egg from there, just...what?

follow the advice of "keep clicking" ? I've seen people say they were here for years and just finally got one. I'm new, but I've clicked almost every day, and now almost every half hour (i wasn't sleeping anyhow.) and I got one near the end of day two.

Also, it's better if you don't have anything in your inventory.

Best of luck. It can feel like heck not getting something. (Sometimes happens with the gifts too.) My spending EC can attest to that. Shops, trades; stuff I swore I was going to hold off on acquiring.

@suzanab - There's no secret as far as I know, it's just that the chances of finding an egg there are very low. It took me years of trying (almost) every day to finally get my first egg.
