aggcave wants my phone number?

what do i do if it askes for my phone number..? i only use wifi my phone is never activated..so i never really have a phone number..

Im not sure if this is going to help but on the blog post ian said you can set up a google voice account ? People are saying thats hard though, but I think its the only way if ya dont have a number :,)

@allydogfog Unfortunately it's not exactly a solution for people without an active phone number. For years now Google Voice has required having an active phone number to activate it.* All it essentially is is a forwarding service (that used to have a lot of neat features.) I mean it's really great for the hearing impaired since it transcripts voicemails. : ) (And people who have social anxiety so bad even *listening* to vm can be triggering. *looks around innocently*)

(*All the similar services I know of require it, and it had to do with changes in the law several years back. It was meant to protect people... but I'm not so sure anything has really changed. Made things tougher for law abiding people, criminals just find ways that are even harder to track, and if anything law abiding people are now more likely to have their data sold. : / )

since you still need a phone number for even google voice i think it’s a even bigger reason why phone number linking shouldn’t be required to claim these things
