❍ About the egg -
Xegon eggs are usually mistaken as a crystal, ore, or an orb.
Skilled creators can freeze Xegon eggs and turn them into Lamps and/or Lanterns without the fragile eggs breaking. They emit a dim light on land but underwater they can shine up to 10x they do on land.

❍ About the creature -
They are one of the most ancient creatures that came back after a long time like Dongelic. no body knows why, how, or when they came back. They just saw them recently wondering around in the Ark bay.
When a Xegon is young they are quite playful.
When they are starting to mature, They will start to grow a horn where the patch on the fore-head is. The swirl on the chest will also expand as the Xegon grow older are more mature. The purple 'fins' will darken as the creature grows, if it doesn't it means they are sick. Once cured the 'fins' will start to darken ike normal.
Xegon are known to be the dragon godness according to the legend. They can walk on mud or moist land for a short amount of time. Xegon can create 'spirits' out of water, making them into any shape they wanted and plays around with them. Xegon are good childern care takers, they are indeed patient with them. The neon patches on the creature's body idmit a light like the egg stage, Very beautiful, mesmerizing.

I guess the rune markings in it just remind me of the glyphs of the chaos alien race in Sonic Frontiers. Probably just a stretch on my brain's part.
