JAsper started burning Mariel's clothes

Mariel grabbed a fistfull of water with both hands. With one, she blew out her skirt, with another, she threw it at Jasper, a mischevous smile twitching at her lips.Then she faced Anastasia.Rolling her eyes, she retorted, "I can splash some water on you too! Maybe you'll grow a tail as well!" Then she caught herself. She didn't want to fight. Anastasia was too stupid to figure anything out. With a spent sigh, she said, "Look, I really don't want to fight you, okay? Why are you here? I can help you get out as fast as possible." and with a hard look, "I'm sure that's what you *want* right? Peace? Because that's what I want right now. It's tiring to fight."

Anastasia laughed, shaking her head."You mermaids are idiots, 'ya know that? Why don't you jump in the water and show me that flashy tail of yours?"Anastasia said."I don't really care if I have to fight you or if I get out peacefully, I just know I'm getting out of here."

Mariel stared blankly at Anastasa. "So, is my offer accepted, or would you like to grow your tail?"

"What's your offer? I doubt you're going to just untie me. I've been soaked already, I don't really care if it would happen again."Anastasia said. She noticed she was starting to get a bit dry, so she heated her body temperature more.

"I mentioned it before." Mariel imformed with a smile, "I *might* be able to help you get what you need, & you can leave. And, I may untie you. Maybe. Or I might just get it myself."

" Oh so it's my fault", Jasper said sarcastically. " Don't forget about me", Kirsten protested. Everyone was ignoring her.

"Yes, it is."Anastasia said angrily."What does this have to do with you, mermaid?"Anastasia retorted to the girl who had just spoken, an Aquaina nymph.

Mariel stared at Jasper in dismay. "She's MEAN!" she exclaimed, "I wish Clive was here." she whispered, almost as quiet as the silence Jasper got. "I'm such a wimp."

Mariel sighed, "Look, I don't know what kind of prejeduce you have against *mermaids* but.. how did this happen anyways? I never even noticed he was here. I would've helped. I'm not one to be stupid & fight, with sharp retorts only to defend myself."

"I just want to get out of here, like we let Sita out. That's all I wanted, and I suppose this mermaid seems a bit mature and not stupid."Anastasa said, pointing at Muriel.

"Of course I can. But PLEASE, no trouble anymore. I can feel discord growing in power."Mariel then started grabbing the strands of water around Anastasia, building a giant droplet with them. "You may go."Picking the water up, she put a fish in in, & watching it swimming around, she smiled. She then poured the water back in the river, & she grinned again. "Back where you belong."

Mariel waved happily, ignoring Anastasia's stormy walk. "Careful!" she called out, "You don't want to break Jasper's neck!"

Mariel's face twisted into a frown. "Calm down!" she yelled, "It's not nice to be not nice!" Then after a pause,"Maybe you guys have tails too! Would you like to check?"
