mine changed all the time, if there was a profession I probably wanted to be it at some point, especially the science-related ones. never thought I'd be doing what I'm doing now, hopefully it sticks! ^^;

It was always between ballerina or artist. I've been an amateur artist for years so there's that at least.

I unironically wanted to be a Dalmatian, also to help firefighters. Child me was highly annoyed by everyone telling me no.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a singer! Although I must admit that I think my singing is best kept for shower concerts 🤠That dream didn't last for long as I shifted to wanting to become an artist, or go down a creative route as a possible career!

When I was a young child, I wanted to be an artist and a veterinarian. (or if we are talking imaginary I wanted to be Spyro the dragon as a child lol)

I've always known I wanted to work in the medical field somewhere! At the moment, I'm getting ready to go to uni for pre-vet

Like several others have said, I too wanted to be a vet when I was a little child, but I realized the messy side of it but as I got older realized that's essentially anything not just professional occupations. Still after more maturing I established my personal convictions and limits and being a vet just has/had too many "landmines" for my prerogative. As I became an adolescent I did detour in agenda to forensic sciences but a lot of that was becoming "pop forensics" along with saturated and with unappealing factors and prospects ( as I estimated as a young teen) . I was discouraged by what the contemporary prospects required. Silver lining is I never became a vet or involved in a forensics field but I didn't sacrifice my core ethos as a person striving to follow a more devout consciousness not jumbled and frayed with secular policy whims, even if what I "settled" on is a bit "under the table" by contemporary popularity like a homebirth is to a fully sanctioned hospital birth. 😋. .. but regardless we all continue to learn and pursue ourselves regardless of ideal or desire even if in the obscure proverbial subconscious.

I wanted to be a doctor, and now I'm an artist and I teach art! But...honestly, I'm thinking about going back to school for radiology. 😅

I cringe so hard at what I wanted to be that it bears not repeating. I knew I wanted to be someone important and memorable. I still do, but in a much more humble way.

I wanted to be a pirate for a long time.. like until I was around 10 years old or so hahaafter that I was set on becoming either a freelance illustrator or video game artist, now as an adult I'm still really passionate about visual art but I'm not sure it's something I want to do as a job, I'm worried I'll lose the passion.I'm currently studying music technology instead, though I'm considering starting up artist alleying at conventions on the side sometime in the near future. not quite what I was planning as a teen, but I feel like convention art will give me a lot more creative freedom compared to working in the industry.
