Write an Acrostic Poem using HALLOWEEN

RULES of ENTRY:

1. HALLOWEEN is the chosen word
2. Write a poem using letters of
the word to begin a new sentence
3. Rhyming poem is preferred
4. I will not be picking a one word/per line poem to win. I want to see sentences
5. Of course your poem is Halloween themed
6. Post here in this forum thread
7. You may edit your poem up until October 29 @ 12 am ect - so you have plenty of time
8. Not following any/all rules disqualifies you
9. PM me with questions - DO NOT clog this thread up with anything but POEMS
10. PM me if you want to enter - I will add your name here for all to see.
11. KEEP YOUR POEM PG - Remember this is
a family site - NO Foul Language, NO sexual content, NO Violence (can be a tad bit scary).

My EXAMPLE:

Heckles from goblins heard at night,
Above the tree-tops bats take flight.
Ladies and laddies go Trick or Treat,
Lurching up and down the street.
Owls warn of deceitful ghouls,
Warty witches chant like fools.
Ebony cats at midnight yowl,
Every werewolf on the prowl.
Nauseous I am feeling now!

Hungry ghosts yearning for blood
Anger creates a flaming flood
Lingering souls wait to steal your psych
Long years of patience made them ready to strike
Over the mountains, under the sea
Where you are, they will be
Evil spirits will satisfy at last
Even then, for blood they lust
Never unready to trick or treat and make you have a lovely Halloween...

...that is, if they don't bite your head off first.

Still, have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN...hehehe.

Haunted halls where ghosts do fly
All Halloween they rule the sky
Laughing trick-or-treaters run
Late at night - they're having fun
Once each one is in their bed
Witches, goblins and all the undead
Enter the scene, making mischief galore
Evil and witchcraft and blood and gore
Now the ghouls begin to leave - to return again next Hallow's Eve.

Halloween night gives me a scare,
And everybody watches with a glare.
Low bats fly through the dusk.
Light falls on the goblin's tusks.
Over the hills in the shadows,
Witches cackle aroumd the meadows.
Everybody watches the trick-or-treaters;
Eating their candy, ferocious eaters!
Never mind, Halloween is over now..

Halloween scares begin tonight, and my demons are on the prowl,
All my werewolves, and creatures in my mansion released as they HOWL.
Lost In the woods you should be not.
Lots of souls lost comes from careless thought.
Ogres of mine are out to smash,
Witches crowd round cauldrons that splash.
Evil young scoundrels await in the woods, tis seeking blood.
Ever meet their teeth, you won't need worry bout going farther in fright.
Never shall you escape, never shall you leave, my demons await for you, deep in the Night....

Hackles on black cats raise;
All the witches sing their sarcastic praise;
Like a witch widow;
Like candles in the windows;
Obsurd sounds fill the night air;
Wilting leafs fall off the trees fluttering in the breeze;
Everyone cowers beneath their sheets;
Evil goblins and ghosts prowl around town;
Never open a door or a window unless you want a scare.

Howling wind chills the night
Air is filled with horrors and fright
Laughing, screeching, and horrors rain down
Lastly the door starts to pound......
Oh, the terror it bursts in;rushes around
While the blood sprays on the ground
Evil spirts lurk in these halls
Everyone knows not to stay beneath these walls
Never show fear, never show fright, for either way, you meet your end tonight.

Hesitate not, your time will come
As the clock strikes dead midnight,
Light the candle, will you succumb
Leaving your house before sunlight?
Ominously, the shadows lurk
Wandering around before the heat;
Except no one worries - it's Halloween
Expect the words of 'Trick or Treat' -
Now there is a spooky scene.

Hissing whispering through the trees
Alder bark and knots sap bleed
Lone and wandering, lost and cold
Lasting not long away from the road
Over and under the trees, you despair
When there is terror here everywhere
Evil in the air but nobody for you cares...
Eve of Hallow, lost and forgotten
Now your ghost makes this place haunted

H - Haunted houses glow at night giving us an awful fright

A - Although the sun glow is low,the pumpkins show us the way to go

L - Light resides as the bats take flight and the cats hide

L - Laughing children roam the streets looking for their tasty treats

O - Over hours of collecting sweets, sour, spicy surge power

W - We trade, share, played even compered customs

E - Even knowing time grows short

E - Ending our night, sending us in slight sadness

N - Now its time for bed, climb in, now time is overhead

Hey hey hey I wanna join!

Howling, moaning, hissing, a screams, all on a halloween night.
All of the haunted houses filled with fright.
Lovely houses with candy and more?
Likely*Eyeroll* WHAT A BORE!
Of all of the horror and all of the gore.
We will give you candy AND MORE!
Everyone eating candy
Even the adults think this holidays handy!
Never to say "I dont wanna go" for its free CANDY!

@novrain62 I don't know if anybody would want these or not, but on @heartbreaker1198, I have 150 floicol with all sorts of different travels😊 Including SoB, and can give one a Firestorm Skies^^ I guess if you want to put it up there you can, like I said, I don't know if anybody wants a floicol or not, I mean, I can hatch a selected two, but yeah.....

Larvicide kills the pests of infected old houses
Leaving no bugs, nor a mouse.
Ominous shadows lurk the dark streets,
Where ghouls roam about, and Vampyrs feast.
Every kid wishes to get lots of treats,

Neverless, Halloween will always come again...

Lore full decorations have been hung in the halls.

Lorelie's eye's make all fall to it's witching gaze.

Our entertainment shall pass by your eyes a fluent haze.

when the time should come, we shall see.

Everyone's anticipation of your arrival.

Eye's of many creatures glow in the eerie shadows, seeking to destroy your chances of survival.

Never come to walk our hallowed streets, lest you become our party's treats
