Kiana yawned. It was time for her first class - Controlling the Dark Side of Your Powers. She changed back to human, not bothering to change her clothes or get ready at all, and ran to class.

Nikki packed up her bag and headed to her first class, Controlling the Dark Side of Your Powers. Boy, that'd be boring. Of couse, Nikki' powers had a dark side, but she'd already learned how to control it.

Kiana stepped through the door and was surprised to find Nikki.

She had thought that this school would be torture - and she still hadn't seen any evidence to the contrary - but maybe, it wouldn't be as bad as she thought. Things are always worse when you're by yourself, Kiana thought, and she seemed to be making at least one friend.

Nikki saw Kiana and aved her over to the empty seat that was next to her. The late bell hadn't rung yet so they had a few minutes to talk until class started.

Nikki shrugged at Kiana.

"I really have no idea what it's supposed to be like. This is my first year at this school, so I guess it'll be a surprise. I hate surprises."

Nikki grumbled. SHe hated not knowng things.

Abby made her way through the hallways to class. How to Control the Dark Side of Your Powers was her first class. She made her way in and sat down. She then GLARED at Nikki and Kiana but quickly turned away when she remembered Nikki's power. She held her head up high with disdain. She wouldn't think about them. they were still going to be fine... She wouldn't attack and if she did, she hoped someone would kill her.

Anyone can control the teacher.

The teacher walked in and called for attention.
"Are you all aware of the reason your here? Because you are a danger to society! You will never be accepted as a civilian, you are a mutant, not meant to be part of society. EVER. Luckily, this class will teach you not to get out of control, and to always know what your doing." The teacher finished that speech and eyed the class. Abby slouched in her chair with a rye look on her face.

Jasper walked in, late.
"Why are you late? Detention after school", the teacher snapped. Jasper glanced at her.
"Er- nevrmind", the teacher said, aware of everyone's abilities," Just sit down"
Jasper sat down in a seat.

Kiana zoned out of the teacher's speech. She wrote a message, folded it into a paper airplane, and threw it to Abby.

It says, "Why do you hate me? I know you said why in my dorm, but I thought I told you why not, and I always am in control when I change. And when you said "You should know that it is dangerous to be in that form," it seemed to me that you were trying to get me to not use my powers, and to conform to society's ideals of "normal", and deny that I even had powers.

Abby read it and wrote another message on a different piece of paper. It said, "As long as your in control, but no one could have known your ability to do so. I'm not saying you should never use your power, just.... I'm sorry. We should talk."
