Feedback: Easier way to change phone number on account, PLEASE!

I was kinda hoping this would be changed before I had to switch phones.... I just *know* it really shouldn't have to be this complicated. In order to *change* the phone number associated with your account, you have to completely *unlink* all your accounts and then go through the whole process of *relinking* each side to your main?? Just to change a phone number?? I really don't understand why you can't just, yunno, change the number. It's already limited to one change every 120 days so it's not like there is an abuse issue here.

Is there a specific reason this process is so unnecessarily complicated?
