@yogurtMara carried the Wolf back to an abandoned bomb shelter a few miles away. She tied him to a chair in the corner under the only light in the entire shelter."Good job Mara, now the doctor will get a good look at him, see what makes an elemental tick." Rama gave Mara words of encouragement for the first time in her life."Now then, lets wake out little test subject up now, shall we?" A man's voice came from across the room. Footsteps came closer to the light, and the owner of the voice became visible.He was tall, about 6 foot 4. Silver hair, and large glasses. A lab coat stained with blood in the shape of handprints. A large stitch ran diagonally across his face."Doctor Stein!" Mara gasped at the man standing before them.

"Aruhhh..." Minton managed to say. His head still was bulging with pain. All he wanted to do was turn off the lights and sleep on a comfy bed. He began to peel his eyes open using the only strength he had left. "Where am I?!" yelled Minton trying to see who was standing in front of him.

Dr.Stein Chuckled, "My dear Elemental, you are safe.... for now." He tok out a measuring tape and wrapped it around Minton's head, checked the length, and recorded it on his clipboard. "I am Doctor Stein." More notes on the clipboard. "You are here because Mara and Rama brought you here." He gestured to Mara in the corner sitting on a bed rocking herself. "You see, Mara and Rama are twin demons. Their parents were killed in a raid, as was Rama. But Rama's soul latched onto Mara's and they now have a symbiotic relationship. Astounding really." His voice was monotone and dull. Scritch. Scratch. More notes. "Let's begin with the tests, shall we?"

Minton Felt a hand come around him neck. A chill ran down his spine. "Don't touch me,....DON'T TOUCH ME!" said Minton before he was dragged to a room and lifted up onto a table. He heard a sound like water squirting out from a needing and some tapping. Then he felt something sharp rub against his skin. Minton was undergoing such pain he could could no longer open his eyes or move. he heard some foot steps leave the room. "Good night... Boy." said a voice that sounded like doctor Stein.And Minton fell asleep.

"Doctor Stein? Is he the Wolf?" Mara asked from her bed, rubbing sleep from her eyes."I believe so, yes. But we have to wait until the morning to know for sure." Stein was hunched over some beakers adding liquid to one than a pinch of something to another.

Minton was feeling much better now that he had gotten some rest. He heard a low sweet voice on his right. He looked over and there was the pink haired girl. Right as he saw her face Minton stayed still and pretended to be a sleep.

Mara knew the Wolf was awake, so she poked him even harder in the neck again. "I won't hurt you." She said in a wavering voice.

Meanwhile, Finn was having problems of her own. A large variety of humans (as far as she could tell), all with fiery hair and eyes, had cornered her in a building. She could barely defend herself, even though she was holding back nothing, and was struggling to stay alive. Suddenly, a boundary she had carefully set inside her snapped. She began tearing at the crowd with her nails and teeth.However, she was struggling in combat (for once). She sent out a mental distress signal to the other Angels.

@cpqkitty sorry about that my little angel XD Sorry (literally) I'm still checking what has happened and I'll edit accordingly. @yogurt can you bump?-----Circe wasn't sure what she was planning to do when she joined the Cross country team. She didn't know where she wanted to go with it. But when she joined she realized that she just loved running. It was wonderful, the feeling of running, as fast as she could for as long as she could. When she was running during the country side, breathing in the air during the mornings she felt completely refreshed. Circe had lived out in the country and sometimes jogged the five miles to school everyday. Waking up at six thirty and then going to school was really delightful.It really cleared her head, but when she had moved to the City she didn't know what to make of it. It wasn't at all where she had lived, but to be honest it wasn't really a city. More like suburban areas, not really a city, it wasn't crowded like Circe had expected and she went to school with a bunch of normal looking kids. They didn't really look weird, pretty much like normal people would. When she joined the cross country team she decided that she would be good at it. And she definitely would.

She was thinking about what she wanted to do about the cross country meet coming up as she was jogging. Circe was jogging a loop that she normally did, it was completely ten miles and she noticed the half way mark. After five miles she felt renewed and even more willing to run the next ten. The first time in a while, she tripped over a rock. Some small stone and wasn't sure where it came from, she hadn't stumbled on that trail for a while and stopped to examine the culprit. It was a luminous stone, almost shining in every color of the rainbow. It was beautiful and Circe blinked in astonishment. The stone was grey now and she puzzled over such a strange thing.----@yogurt Thanks 😋 Sorta XD

I do not wish to kill you, you have done nothing to hurt anyone ever. But if you try to hurt someone that has done nothing wrong, I will end you with no second thoughts. "She looked down at his crossed fingers," You are superstitious. Crossing your fingers will not help you escape." She was quiet for a while, thinking about something she did not fully understand. "Can Elementals feel love?"

@dewpawMinton felt like he had just swallow his adam's apple. "But if I didn't do anything wrong why can't I be untied. I won't run away. Why would I run away for I have nothing to be afraid of." Minton was quiet waiting for a reply just as doctor Stein came walking into the room. "Well, I see you've gotten to know each other a little bit." he said.

"Doctor Stein!" Mara shrieked, and crumpled to the floor "I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!"Stein simply laughed, "Get up Mara. It is quite interesting seeing the way you two interact." He scratched his chin. "I should continue testing, it's nearly dawn, we'll have to make up for lost time."Mara looked at him confused, "Lost time? But it's not even dawn?""Stupid demon." @dewpaw😋-----"What tests are going to do on me?", Minton asked The Doctor out of curiosity, "Can't you untie me? I won't run" "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS." doctor Stein said loudly, "You should be happy I'm letting you live. I could have killed you while you were in that chair but Mara convinced me to keep you alive so the results of the tests could be more accurate." Minton could of ripped the rope around his hands in a second using his super strength but he wanted to wait until the time was right so he could get far away from the lab before anyone noticed he was gone.

He measured the length of his arms and legs, and took skin and blood samples.After what seemed like an hour Stein spoke, "Mara, he is the Wolf."He began to laugh and yell like a sugar high 2 year old! "He's the Wolf! He's the Wolf! Mara we finally found the Wolf! The elemental who killed your parents in his last form!"

Finn suddenly shook off her attackers. She had more important things to do - she had located the Shark! She flew off to the general area of the Shark and shimmered human.

@yogurtMara's head sank into her lap. "I do not blame you for their deaths, simply your spirit. The part of your spirit that is the Wolf killed my parents. I wish we could be friends too. But you were not kidnapped for revenge." She stopped mid sentence, then looked up, tears on her cheeks. A large toothy grin spread over her face, and her eyes changed color. "We will kill the part of you soul that is the Wolf spirit. Then we can start a new life, together."She walked up to Minton and began to laugh wildly as Doctor Stein began rummaged through a drawer. He pulled a large syringe filled with a golden liquid from the drawer. Stein turned around slowly and walked over in front of Minton, raising the syringe above him he muttered, "This won't hurt a bit." and then plunged the syringe towards Minton's chest.It took only a minute for Mara to take control of her body again, and when she did she jumped in front of Stein and Minton. The syringe filled with golden liquid plunging into her shoulder.She fell onto the floor gasping as the substance entered her blood. Her screams echoed around the metal bomb shelter. Mara felt paralyzed, unable to move from her spot on the floor. This was the end. "Save yourself Minton." She whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Maybe he should save him. Maybe not. After all, he wasn't the Elemental's babysitter. But then, where was the Elemental of the Eagle? Sighing, he flew up, and 'floated' there, watching the scene, hoping that the Wolf didn't need his help.
