I screech aain as the snake bit me. "HELP ME!" I scream.

Hearing a scream, Demon turned. A snake was attacking Sock Hop. Thinking of the snake and not of the cat, she sprang down and killed the serpent with a single bite to the neck.

I started to feel dizzy. I blacked out and fell on a cats paws.

Midnight walked in and looked around, "Hello," he said.

Demon picked up the snake in her mouth. She then slung Sock Hop over her back and went back to camp. After putting the cat down, she ate the snake and returned to the higher branches of trees.

"HELLO," Midnight yelled. Then he jumped up into the same tree as Demon.

Demon hissed at the new cat behind her. That noisome feline would scare off all the prey! She soundlessly leapt from tree to tree in the pitch-black, no-moon night.

Trying to shake off the cat, Demon leapt to the top of the tree she was on, and then bounded from treetop to treetop. She was the only cat she knew who could balance well on the tip of a tree, let alone fast.

Midnight kept up down on the ground below.

Demon perched on a treetop, thinking that the cat would continue on.

Midnight stopped and hopped up to where Demon was.

Demon clawed at the cat, almost tearing out its eyes, and hissed, "Leave! You're scaring off the prey! Go and sleep the night away back at camp."

Midnight krept away. He was sad.

Demon leapt to a tree that didn't smell of cat, and waited. Soon, she heard a bat. Waiting until it was in eyesight, she then pounced into midair and killed it with a single blow, clutching it to her chest. However, instead of falling, she caught a branch with her tail, got herself up onto the limb, and devoured the bat.

Demon pricked her ears. There it was again - the screech of an owl. She silently sprang to the easy prey. Noticing the black cat from before, she sectioned out a third of her kill and offered it.

Mylio saw Demon and Midnight.
She hopped up into a tree to watch them. They didn't know her. But with Pumpkin being a blabber mouth, she knew about everything.

Midnight took it and swallowed it whole. "So, what are you doing hunting so far away, don't you know its dangerous."

"I just took down an owl. In the past, I've taken down wolves. Do you think anything here could pose a threat to me?

Mylio was shocked. She hopped down right infront of them.

"An owl! I've only taken down a mouse!" Mylio laughed.

She looked at Midnight, "What are you doing out here? I know Demon was hunting"

Demon offered three-quarters of what was left (about a fifth of the original owl meat) to Mylio. "Want some?"

She looked embarrased, "Sure! I'll take some!
She gulped down large bites of the owl, like she hadn't eaten all day.
