Moss noticed a flicker of movement out of the corner of her eye. Dropping immediately into a crouch, she glided on silent feet to her prey, and POUNCED! The vole shot between her legs, but Moss flipped over and pushed off in one giant leap, and slammed her paw down on the vole, a heartbeat before it slipped into its home.

Moss stretched and arched her back. Eagerly, she bounded out into the woods. She clambered up up tree to to very tips. Astounded, Moss gasped. Then she shook herself angrily. "You're not a kit anymore!" She told herself. "You should have been up her ages ago. You could have found another home..." Moss sighed and as she was making her way back to camp, she picked up the scent of her cousin, Demon.
