They wear ribbons, bows, and hats to celebrate the festivities, never taking them off, which explains the fact that they aren't seen during the rest of the year. Don't let them near your food - these cunning creatures will steal your mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie when you aren't looking."

Haha, I know right? I was thinking about what animal, and I thought "Well, we've already had some turkeys around last year, so I'll just try to make some other Thanksgiving-related creature".
It looks too much like a normal raccoon to me, though. xD
