My night is completely ruined. My mom just had to bring up Homecoming and Prom. I feel bad for her; she actually thinks I'll be asked to BOTH dances. My chances of getting asked to either Homecoming or Prom is slimmer than me winning the lottery 3 times in a row. And she's still holding out on the hopes of having grandchildren. Wow. No, just no.

Sigh. I might as well got to bed and not think about it ☚ī¸.

@deannablanco3 I've given up on dating or marrying. I just wish everyone else would too. It's too stressful thinking about things I'll never have.

Deleted • 27 October 2011 at 10:49 PM

@briseis its k, at least people dont just assume your the oppisite gender just because your flatchested *is talking about self* i mean im 16 and still wearing trainers! do you know how imbbarising when i walk in a changing room and there all like, boys over there! im tall for my age too, so im like 5'9 and get hit on! makes me sad.... *crys*

@deannablanco3 I'm basically flat-chested too. Well, not exactly, but I'm definitely not normal-looking. But then again, nothing about my physically is even remotely normal-looking. I just can't believe my mom is so naive to actually think I'd get asked to Prom or Homecoming. She's out of her mind if she thinks I'll ever date or marry and have children.

@deannablanco3

I think flat-chested/smaller chests are underrated.
Of all things considered physically beautiful, a larger chest is something I'm kind of puzzled about. I can see how that part of the body could be considered beautiful; I just don't understand the whole size thing.
I'm huge there and have been as long as I can remember and I just hate having to believe that's the only reason any guy looks at my twice.

Deleted • 27 October 2011 at 10:58 PM

@metaphor
well with me, im conffused with a guy and get hit on because of it, and its emmbarrasing to tell them im not a guy, and then they pick one me >.< i dont get the size thing ether, i would just like to be reconized as a girl DX

@briseis
This is ridiculous.
Have you ever heard 'if you put all of your problems out on a table along with everyone else's, you'll be reaching for yours back in a matter of seconds.'
Actually I'm mad at you.
I shouldn't be, but I am.
I just found out I'm not allowed to see or talk to my dad.
When I need him the most.
And he needs me.
My mom has a restraining order against him for her, my sister, and I when he didn't do anything.
And I can't do a thing because I am only 15 years old.
She's making the whole thing up so she can have custody over my sister and I.
Your upset because you don't THINK boys like you?
I'm sure your gorgeous and you just want to hear people's sympathy.
Come on.
Don't downgrade yourself because of nasty underage boys.
They are not worth your time.
Or to be upset over this badly.

@deannablanco3 no wonder I never get looked at. Mine are definitely not attractive or worth staring at, just like the rest of me.

@deanneblanco3 I don't see why people say that. Guys aren't that bad. They must not be if most everyone has a boyfriend. At least that's how it is here. In my state, I mean.

@briseis
its because girls know what they look for inside and out. guys just like to think we dont. not all guys are idiots, just some of them.we just happen not to have these things.im sure your not that bad.*hugs*

I think,
in a few years,
guys will look back at themselves,
and realize what jerks they were.
As well as girls.
The girls with big busts and popular social lives
end up wasting their lives
getting drunk, and being arrested.

I think we need to accept who we are
the ads that magazines put out are horrendous.
They air brush every girl, and promote perfection
is the most imperfect ways.
But you know, the grass always seems to be greener
on the other side,
and that is why we must accept who we are.
And improve in the areas that ARE the most important,
like learning, and making real friends.

@briseis

Trust me, I am FAR from a guy magnet. o.o
I'm not thin, I'm not attractive, and to make matters worse, I lack any kind of social skills. I stay quiet in a corner, which makes people even more afraid to approach me.
I always hate going out with my one friend because guys always look at her. Sure, she's quite more stylish than I am, but the only time guys care to stare is when they catch sight of my chest. I think I can pretty much guarantee this.😋
But it doesn't matter.
I don't see these guys ever again, I'm a distant memory, and I go on with life with people with substance.

@balletninja cool poem. im just being sad because ive never got a guy to look at me twice.@metaphor i think im just gonna give up on guys. i mean, im a garented girl magnet.

@briseis
Honestly, stop putting yourself down like that. There is nothing more unattractive than lack of self confidence.
Even if it's true that the boys at your school truly find you unattractive, so what? How old are you, 16? 17? And how many boys are there at your school? 500 maybe? What makes you think that just because they don't see you as beautiful no one else will. I've gotta kind of agree with @metaphor

How dare you let a bunch of ignorant, hormonal boys dictate the way you see yourself.

@deannablanco3 thanks for the support, but trust me, I'm just as bad as I say. I'm probably the one who knows best :').

@balletninja maybe it's just where I live, but the girls here look very close to the airbrushed girls in magazines and on TV. That's why they all have boyfriends. I'm most CERTAINLY not attractive; on a scale of 1-10 I'm about a 4 on a really good day, normally a 3. These girls, in comparison, are around 7-9 and even 10. I can't compare to that.

@deannablanco3

Don't worry, you will.😊
I never thought I would either. In 8th grade, probably my worst year as far as hormonal emotional turmoil goes, I had my first admirer who wasn't at all subtle about it.😋
He was sweet, just very clingy.
Everyone is different in what they look for. He'll find it, and so will you 😉

@plookle axally, i go to a school of over 3000 people.i have a imbalance of horomones that make me look mostly like a guy. the only good thing about it is i have like really light periods. @metaphor i ve never had a male admirer and im almost out of high school >.< had plenty of female,but not one male makes me sad to know that no one male has ever hit on me >.<

@metaphor to be honest, that kind of makes me feel worse. You're in 8th grade?I'm in 12th. You have someone who likes you. I've never had anyone who's liked me, and that's pretty pathetic. Most people nowadays are attractive though, so people are dating earlier and earlier. I wish I had been born like that, but I guess I am who I am unfortunately :').

@deannablanco3
Ah, I wasn't talking to you specifically there, but it still applies I suppose. And 3000, ok, so 1500 guys, approximately. It's the same principle. You're going to leave high school and realize real quick that what you saw there was only a small sampling of the male population. 😉

@plookle you really think so? no joke?

@briseis

You just see all these girls as "near perfect" because you think so lowly of yourself. I've been here, I know.
But you know...yeah, there are ideal traits of beauty (big breasts, shapely butt and hips, etc.) and girls may be "more attractive" when compared on that kind of scale.
But trust me when I say that there is more than one way to be beautiful. It's probably why the girls at my school that I find pretty are the ones who more reserved, staying within their own social circles but still maintaining some kind of confidence.
THAT'S what's most attractive of all, in the end.

@plookle my school's about the same size. We have 3060 students total, so about 1530 boys if you want to divide it nicely. Unfortunately even the freshman are dating. I'm one of those pitiful desperate seniors I guess, one of the girls no one wants. Thank God I'm going to a tiny town for college where I can just melt into the background.

@metaphor
I am in 8th grade I am pretty sure my first kiss will be a stage kiss. xD
I am not ugly, at least I don't think I am, on my worst days a 7/10 and on my best a 9/10.
I dunno, maybe I am undateable.
Or maybe dating isn't huge at my school.
But it really doesn't bother me, besides,
I think crushes are better than dating.
It might be because I am a ginger,
but I like my hair.
Maybe just because I am pale but I plan to get a spray tan (don't worry not an orange one)
just because I have always wanted to see what it would be like xD
But anyways you are right, when the time is right, everything will fall into place.

@deabbablanco3

I'm only a Junior in High School myself, I can't say for sure. But I've seen some pretty crazy matches. There are so many guys out there. There are guys who define beauty in a million different ways. And I am sure that one day you're going to meet a guy who will call you beautiful.

@balletninja see what I mean? Everyone nowadays is a 9 or 10 on the scale. I'm outdated and unwanted I suppose. Anyways, good luck with your dating experiences. Trust me, you'll have way more than I ever will in my lifetime in high school.
