Should there be hunting?

Hehe My First Topic!! 😉

There's this thing in school about debates, and an interesting question was if there should be hunting. It's basically like that Dogs vs. Cats game, when you count up or down. I'll recap the directions if you forget:

~We start at 100
~Count UP for HUNTING
~Count DOWN for NO HUNTING
~If we get to 200, HUNTING wins.
~If we get to 0, NO HUNTING wins.

Here's some persuasive thingies:

~Remember, hunting gives us meat. Do you like bacon? What about chicken? If there was no hunting, you wouldn't have that stuff. And, there's a slim chance that animals could go extinct from hunting. Even if you argue that we dont get a lot of meat from hunting, it IS mostly just for sport.

~Remember, hunting kills our animals. Moms could lose their babies and families. Remember Dodos? They're gone because of hunting.

Tell the truth. What do you think? I'll start: 101.

96 ~ Hunting is fun. It's not like you MURDER the animals for no reason. My dad and I eat all the deer we shot. If you haven't had deer meat, you haven't lived. 😉
Ps ~ I'm not sure if anyone HUNTS cats. 😋

96- THink of what you would say or do if you were an animal and you were being hunted. Before I would ever step on an ant, I say this poor little guy/girl is probably a mother/father with kids a nice home and friends. They are just mini humans that need to survive...

97 ~Hunting isn't actually not that bad. I've killed one deer. (Sorry animal lovers.) And i'm hoping to hunt some more this following August. Actually, that deer died on the spot, but the process of killing the cow to make your hamburger is more gruesome. : ( Trust me, I know.
