Dear Macbot...We Want You Back!!!!

Ok, so I was going through the archives and I found the Macbot, for like the 5th or 6th time, and I said, "Wow, that's cute. I want it!!". So, figuring that there was a couple UFT at the Trade Center, I checked there. One. There was only one Uft! I was all like, "No way!!!". Anyway, I would like to call attention to some moniter person or @Ian, TO BRING BACK THE MACKBOTS!!!!!!! (at least for a month)

Then save up LEs to trade for one, I had to save up more than $25 of creatures to trade for one, so him re-releasing them would be unfair.

Ian is not planning to re-release any retired creatures. It would decrease their rarity, and would be stealing from those who traded rare things to obtain one. The suggestion of bringing them back for only one month will not fix any of these things. If you want a Macbot, you'll probably have to trade for one.

@balletninja I really don't think it would be unfair, because, I mean would you trade your Macbot, now that you spent that on it? I just wanted to give everyone a chance to have on, ya'know?But that's just my opinion.

Yea, he's not planning to doesn't mean he won't, and no that wouldn't be stealing from them, because they could get a new one and hold it until it's rare again, and trade it for large items.

When I was a newbie I wished for this very thing, but trust me, it is not what you want. Trading is so much more gratifing. You have to earn it.

It would be unfair. People would be cheated of their money. Plus Ian is not about to rerelease them. Or anything.

@p3f1teng The only thing is some people paid large quantities of CC (the real $$$ currency) in order to obtain their Macbot, around $20.00-$30.00 worth, and so if you make them available again for $5.00 it could get some (scratch that, most) people mad >.> Which is what I think we're getting at in a roundabout fashion.

Ian is not re-releasing them. I can quote him. The whole fun of having a macbot is that not everyone has one.

I would love to get one, but they wouldn't be so rare, they would become common and no long too rare. It's like the Doovoo, they wouldn't be so special if we got them back in the CSP.

We've all discussed this quite a lot now...
And the answer will still be no.

I've seen users work hard for months before they got their Macbot & trading half their cove, and now to see them being released for only $5... that's like a double slap to the face.

@p3flteng My apologies, let me reword that. Ian is not going to re-release retired creatures. And yes, it would be stealing from Egg Cave users. Many members traded real money and extremely rare creatures to get a Macbot. If they were suddenly common, they would have been cheated out of their money.

There have been many, many threads about re-releasing rare creatures, and none of them were approved. 😉

This is totally-somewhat-not-really related... The Balrog was never supposed to be re-released either xD "This creature will be limited edition and will be available ONLY to those who completed this year's plot."

Well it was put in the CSP and it went from rarest creature on Eggcave to like normal CC >_> So anything is possible I guess O_O I still don't think it's really the best move but I'm just going to throw that out there.

well actualy it is fair they could have done what we are doing now trying to get them to be common and then they dont have to pay them (in creatures or real money)
