I've been waiting to get my hands on a Nuomek! Darn you Majul!

complexum • 13 Nov 2021, 12:06 AM

o m g Peeyu is SO. DARN. CUTE!

stellalunagirl • 13 Nov 2021, 12:19 AM

I would love to see a mythology-based CRW for 2022, having critters inspired by mythological creatures from all over the world. 😊

glaselkj • 13 Nov 2021, 12:23 AM

a idea i would like this site to make would be centaurs but girl ones can hv blond wavy hair and males has brown hair with no beard or mustash on them

snowywinter • 13 Nov 2021, 12:38 AM

OMG, so excited for the new additions to VEND! (lol... though i just finally bought the green one this past wk.) Both are some that I've wanted since i joined. || Will have to think on CRW.

ida92 • 13 Nov 2021, 12:46 AM

I had the same idea as @stellalunagirl πŸ˜ƒ But would love to see the less obvious creatures and beings. Not neccesseraly dragons and phoenixes etc. Perhaps each creature inspired by a different mythology - Slavic, Celtic, Maori and so on.

stellalunagirl • 13 Nov 2021, 12:47 AM

@ida92 I agree! Oooh, the Maori are the native people of the country I'm from - I think representation would be awesome!

ida92 • 13 Nov 2021, 12:52 AM

@stellalunagirl I have even came up with a creature suggestion for the Slavic representative πŸ˜ƒ One of my favourite beings from Slavic mythology. I might have some time to draw it and post it in the Forums sometime later this month

stellalunagirl • 13 Nov 2021, 12:53 AM

@ida92 That sounds awesome! Would love to see it! 😊

izziebee1017 • 13 Nov 2021, 12:58 AM

user suggestions crw?

ida92 • 13 Nov 2021, 12:58 AM

@stellalunagirl I can ping you when I post the topic ^^

structuresfromsilence • 13 Nov 2021, 1:29 AM

What about fruit/vegetable creatures? 😊

izziedragon • 13 Nov 2021, 2:04 AM

@stellalunagirl @ida92 Mythology sounds awesome! I don't have context for what's been done theme-wise since I just came back last year. If we don't do mythology I think maybe creatures based on astrology could be neat. (Not super into astrology but there's a lot of potential)

pipkitten • 13 Nov 2021, 2:21 AM

A rainbow themed CRW could be fun! Not all creatures being rainbow though; each one is a separate color, ROYGBIV style. 😊

pipkitten • 13 Nov 2021, 2:29 AM

I'd also enjoy an insect and spiders theme for CRW, just because I am and always will be a bug nerd. πŸ˜‹

nexu • 13 Nov 2021, 6:50 AM

what about some very fluffy creatures ? ^^

lykhaos117 • 13 Nov 2021, 7:02 AM

I’d love to see continents since there could be a creature made for each one. 😊 This could also be combined with the mythology suggestion. Also great: fruit/vegetable creatures (love the existing ones + the book Scranimals) and rainbow (if indigo were switched for multicolor).

sparklefox • 13 Nov 2021, 8:44 AM

Mythology theme sounds nice. I'd love to see some more obscure mythological creatures - the Cù-sìth and Serpopard come to mind. I also like the bug theme idea. How about an ocean (or water in general) or a food theme?

lexicon • 13 Nov 2021, 9:35 AM

@sinthr CAT WEEK. We can never have too many cat creatures xD Mythology, while cool, is similar to the cryptozoology week we did based on myths from different cultures? What about crits based on the 7 Deadly Sins?? Sloth could be a couch, doesn't have to be limited to animals!

brookie • 13 Nov 2021, 9:46 AM

Love the addition!

staticm • 13 Nov 2021, 11:19 AM

I wanna see a LGBQT+ pride dragon in 2022, it would be very poggers πŸ˜ƒ

snowywinter • 13 Nov 2021, 11:43 AM

I love @stellalunagirl's idea of mythology themed for CRW! Fav idea so far. So much variety to chose from, and a topic I love. || Rolling off @pipkitten's rainbow idea, what about different jewel creatures (I want amber!) or tropical birds?! ...tbc (1/?)

snowywinter • 13 Nov 2021, 11:47 AM

I also don't think the site has enough variety of sea life. I think it's sadly missing a Horseshoe crab and I REALLY want a (scary) Angler fish (but want it called a Lamp, Lantern, or Light fish, even though in RL there is a Lampfish.) CRW 2/? TBC...

snowywinter • 13 Nov 2021, 11:52 AM

Or could CRW possibly make up some for the lack of Lunar New Year releases? We have two that I know of. I LOVE the Shengxiao, but from what I hear it returns every year and the Lan only once. (3/4)... tbc

snowywinter • 13 Nov 2021, 11:56 AM

Speaking about Shens... Every time I bring up Chickens in the blogs (like the farm themed month) People seem to get eggcited about it. There are SO many varieties and colors of chickens to draw inspiration from. You'd think there'd be more on a site about EGGS. LOL. (4/4)

jlya • 13 Nov 2021, 7:32 PM

On board with the mythology idea πŸ˜ƒ

ravensong • 13 Nov 2021, 8:06 PM

Cat fanatic here! Love the cats ❀️

prairie • 13 Nov 2021, 8:51 PM

I agree with others on mythology, I've always been super fascinated by that stuff! Otherwise I'd love to see a User Suggestions CRW sometime.

zircon • 14 Nov 2021, 12:05 AM

@nexu oh, that could be cute!! I also like the mythology idea and the seven deadly sins one. All of those have potential. (:

cheetah • 14 Nov 2021, 10:17 AM

For CRW, how about felines, but beyond just housecats? πŸ˜ƒ Big cats (lions, tigers, the extinct smilodon/saber tooth, etc.), house cats (persian, siamese, etc.), wild cats (lynx, serval, etc.) and even mythological cats (nekomata, cait sidhe, etc.)

cheetah • 14 Nov 2021, 10:25 AM

I also really like the ROYGBIV theme idea, though. That would allow a huge range of possibility for each creature, while still keeping to a consistent theme. 😊

lobstertheremin • 14 Nov 2021, 1:28 PM

I'm not a fan of cats myself, but I love @structuresfromsilence's idea for cute fruit/veggie creatures πŸ˜ƒ Like, how about a bunch of grapes, and each grape is a cute little guy?

lobstertheremin • 14 Nov 2021, 1:29 PM

I also like @snowywinter's idea for more chickens 😊

structuresfromsilence • 14 Nov 2021, 2:20 PM

@lobstertheremin cats are alright, but we already have so many of them on EC. How about some more unique creatures that we haven't seen on here before? I like your idea of the bunch of grapes haha.

structuresfromsilence • 14 Nov 2021, 2:20 PM

Or maybe a creature that's one of those old computer monitor shapes? Maybe like those old Mac computers with the colored backs?

structuresfromsilence • 14 Nov 2021, 2:23 PM

What about a shoe with a little cute face? Like how succutelents have their little face on the pot part of the plant. Something weird and fun like that.

snowywinter • 14 Nov 2021, 2:33 PM

@structuresfromsilence As much as I want a regular ol Angler fish, some of the sealife could be weird too. Like literally having a swimming lamp, dog with scales, harp with flippers, shrimp with a watergun? Fancy names all by themselves Vampire squid, Christmas Tree worm.

snowywinter • 14 Nov 2021, 2:35 PM

(lamp or angler fish, dog fish, pistol shrimp, and harp seal were some of the creatures I was referencing.)

structuresfromsilence • 14 Nov 2021, 5:26 PM

@snowywinter hahaha I like the puns. I could see those being fun. I would be all up on a harp with flippers πŸ˜ƒ

riceboysleeps • 15 Nov 2021, 11:23 AM

More cute technology creatures. Floppy disk/microchip/flash drive/CD/laptop. Could be fun.

dougprishpreed • 15 Nov 2021, 1:12 PM

hahaha these ideas are great (fruit/vegetables, harp with flippers, floppy disk creature). Or what about musical instruments? Like a little ukulele dude or a mini piano guy. That would be cuuuuute

snowywinter • 15 Nov 2021, 6:48 PM

@dougprishpreed I'd be so on board for musical instruments! (Not like with the mythos, but i still love the idea.) Harpsichord, dulcimer... ! I bet people would be all over a hurdy-gurdy! (But getting someone to draw that >.< ) Hee hee... Bag pipes 😊 ❀️ bag pipes wearing a kilt

dougprishpreed • 15 Nov 2021, 11:59 PM

@dougprishpreed yes! Just take any instrument and put little legs under it, and you've got gold
