Today's Bug Fixes

At the moment, we're trying to fix the most mission critical bugs that are affecting version 3. Thank you for reporting all of them thus far. Rest assured, we will get to them and fix whatever is going wrong!

Today's Fixes

  • The Problems & Bugs forums and other forum listings have been fixed
  • Fixed a bug that caused the system to hiccup in determining Leaf of Vaka owners (no creature deaths occurred)
  • Fixed a bug where the trades erred out if submitting a blank amount of EC
  • Fixed alignment issues when offering on a trade lot
  • Fixed permission issues when attempting to delete profile comments either that you've posted or are located on your wall
  • Fixed a bug that prevented you from adding users to existing Mail conversations
  • Since Login, Register, and Lost Password pages have changed, we've added permanent redirects on the previous URLs for backwards compatibility
  • Fixed an error that prevented contact form messages from being as as a guest (logged in users were unaffected)
  • Fixed missing feed roundup notifications
  • Fixed missing "Cave steal attempts" available notifications
  • Fixed the My Bids page
  • Updated non-HTTPS resources to be served over HTTPS
  • Fixed both the Creatures and Items selectors from hiding stuff that isn't locked
  • Disabled ads from displaying on the page where you buy CaveCash
  • Fixed an error when attempting to edit a forum post
  • Re-linked egg profile item collections
  • Fixed the bad words filter from false positives
  • Fixed auto-removing Click Exchange creatures once their max clicks has been reached
  • Forum topics and browsing them now shows what forum they're actually in

Known Bugs

These bugs are a work in progress, but we wanted to let you know what we're on it!

  • Difficulty or inability to reorder your Cove List creatures
  • Click Exchange links are intermittently "deadlocking" (which is a database error)
  • Some Egg Cave URLs are not auto hyperlinking
  • Creature names beginning with underscores (_) are now appearing in the wrong place
  • Creature profiles are not displaying 5 creatures per row (we'd like to return this to 5 creatures per row, stay tuned!)
  • Forums search is still offline
  • Help/FAQ page is wonky and not working when you click to different sections
Please do not report bugs on these Site Blog posts, as they will not be read.

Great to see this many things fixed so quickly after it being released! Also, is there no message link anymore? Like to put on profiles.

I noticed that when I am outbid on something in auctions, it doesn't show up and I lose. Is there any way to fix this so I get notifications

Forum link leads to an empty page, so going to post it here. Sorting Creatures does not seem to work, I sorted by age and had a Creature --

from 2010 showing up after a 2011 one. I noticed this because I have three Schnees and only two of them appeared next to each other. :0

I realized when my creatures say they are in say stage 4 they stay as an egg, this goes for all stages.

I'm not really a fan of the new cave format >_< It takes too many pages/loading time and I have to zoom to 67% to stop scrolling every time

Lol I just went back to 100% zoom to see what it'd look like by default, and I have to say everything is really huge o.o
