Whatever happens happens. A re-release is a very big possibility, and when/if it happens it'll be worked with. And everyone will get used to it eventually whether they like it or not. Just being real.

@despairI see. So say, hypothetically, eggcave made a public statement that they were thinking about rereleases in the future and that all creatures would be culpable and blah blah, for that once they would be going back on their word but it's also a public policy change: would you (and others who...
despair • 30 July 2015 at 12:02 AM
@yam A mixture of both, tbh. Re-releases aren't the answer. They said they wouldn't so instead they need to find a different way of doing things and from now on make it to where the slogans of creatures don't stress up and down nine ways to Sunday that it's your last chance to get them. Forever i...

@despair@bluewolfI have a question for you guys. Is it that you don't see a problem with how the site currently is, about older creatures having no outlet into the "Egg cave economy" and thus being not a part of the game anymore, or is it that you understand there's a problem but think...
veritaspunk • 29 July 2015 at 11:58 PM
@despair of course, because it's either to re-release or don't ... "first choice" .. it's an either / or What some are jumping to is either a full re-release or just cave creatures
despair • 29 July 2015 at 11:53 PM
@bluewolf My point exactly. 😸 Jumping on the re-release boat seems to be everyone's first choice, haha.

No chill, no chill.

@iceiceice I liked the idea of event/questI've always been a fan of the valentine event, feed so much to get points and maybe a prize could be like a drem? Maybe there could be a limit..?But that's just me. I'm not very creative. ._.

I can't believe this discussion is still going at the rate it is xD I'm not going to actively join in at the moment though, as I'm sick from good ol' dehydration and feel terrible. All I'll say is that this site gave their word about past creatures being retired forever. And as for people who want t...

Alrighty, all we've been talking about is how we're for or against rereleases, but not a possible resolution. If we continue bickering, I think we'll just end up repeating ourselves. So, if we were to rerelease, how are we going to do it? People seem to be jumping onto nyms, macbots, or whatever...
despair • 29 July 2015 at 11:29 PM
Super rare...i'd say not. I know the value will go up again eventually, but then it'll go right back down.I strongly prefer @bluewolf's idea of exclusive limited creatures.
netherling • 29 July 2015 at 11:26 PM
@despairIts not like the site will go into disrepair. Eventually its going to get to the point where they're super rare again. Because of people who quit, hiatus and end up never coming back. And then other things.
despair • 29 July 2015 at 11:23 PM
Better never than late, I'd say. Without exclusiveness the game lacks challenge snd thrill imo
rosaline_kaye • 29 July 2015 at 11:20 PM
@plaguepreachok back to sleeping now
netherling • 29 July 2015 at 11:20 PM
Better late than never xD I'd we waited longer like you said then that's even later than 6 years @depair
despair • 29 July 2015 at 11:15 PM
You also have to take into account that Eggcave said they wouldn't do it anymore. xD Like I said, seems a bit odd 6 years in. Even if you want things to change for the "better", I feel this is still a pretty sound argument to stand behind.
netherling • 29 July 2015 at 11:13 PM
I'm just staying on the supporting side or re-releases. Back then is a whole heck of a lot different than now. You have to take that into account too.
syndrome • 29 July 2015 at 11:09 PM
*munches popcorn*This is really great you guys, I love reading the arguments back and forth because I don't really care either way. I'm mainly here for the community and such. However it has come to my attention that most of the users gunning for a no are users who have creatures of high value a...
veritaspunk • 29 July 2015 at 10:48 PM
@promise The early creatures had a disadvantage of opportunity due to egg cave being new, the exposure wasn't what it is now .... therefore the population of older creatures had an advantage to be "low population" ...
iceiceice • 29 July 2015 at 10:47 PM
This is turning into a heated argument u_u"We're discussing rereleases, both the pros and the cons. Rereleases aren't for certain yet and we're trying to figure out how we are to approach it, if it was to happen.I think both sides have a good point. People are free to express their opinions...
immortalraven • 29 July 2015 at 10:46 PM
@promise I've probably spent close to you have or maybe more xD I wish they had the order history when I started already so I'd know xD---I wish I had good ideas for this but I'm more creative in an artsy way not this o-o--Also I would trade a reissue + stuff for an original x3 I like my d...
netherling • 29 July 2015 at 10:44 PM
@promiseI think they can find a way to make everyone or almost everyone happy.
promise • 29 July 2015 at 10:42 PM
@veritaspunk What does that have to do with value of originals over reissues? It doesn't matter how many users. The older creatures still should be valued higher but they are not so that is an indication that the reissues would still displace the value from the originals.
despair • 29 July 2015 at 10:41 PM
@ami_utsukushii Also, telling me directly that I should be more open to the idea is a bit...strange. xD I have my own opinions and I'll stick to them.
promise • 29 July 2015 at 10:39 PM
@ami_utsukushii I truly trust Eggcave that they wouldn't do anything if it would ruin the economy. I think it could be possible to do this while making mostly everyone happy.Everyone: This might not be easy to agree upon but we just have to be creative and a little more flexible.
rosaline_kaye • 29 July 2015 at 10:38 PM
@ami_utsukushii I'm confused.Quoting from post #163;" I've spent a good amount of money on this site on different creatures together. I know over $200."
netherling • 29 July 2015 at 10:37 PM
@rosaline_kaye I didn't. I wasn't going to spend my gas and food money on a creature I cant hold in my arms ^-^. As amazing as these creatures are, I had to put my needs before my wants. If my wants and needs can both be taken care of and I can spend $200 on wants then yeah, id spend that money on...
veritaspunk • 29 July 2015 at 10:37 PM
@promise I'd be interested in knowing how many more active users there are now in comparison to 09... I mean the low amount of Macbots in relation to users now I would think is quite stark ...
promise • 29 July 2015 at 10:34 PM
@veritaspunk That doesn't really matter. There is '09 Roos and then newer ones. The 2009 Roos should be worth more since they are originals but no one seems to care they pay about the same price for the originals and the reissues. I would think this would also be the case with these creatures.
rosaline_kaye • 29 July 2015 at 10:34 PM
@veritaspunk reissues of what now?@promise exactly. why spend $150 on a macbot when its going to be re-released for like, $10?@ami_utsukushii i'm not going to change my mind about this.may i ask, what critters did you spend $200 on?
