hello, i am new here too and i do not know much bout the site but i do know that by purcasing books from the lilta library gives you views, food from the bakery gives you feeds and toys give you clicks to evolve you egg. hope that info helps you out a bit 😃

[So eggcave is a fun little clicking site. I shouldn't be looking too much into it.

But I did and do so let's get started.

We know eggcave takes place on Ark, an island with creatures and jungles. But Ark is really weird up if you think about it.

I joined this site because a lot of the people whom I'm friends with on neopets like this site as well. So far all of the creatures are so cute. But EC seems hard to earn.. Maybe that's because I'm used to neopoints though.

Would be a lot of work for the artist though.
One item would have to be redrawn for each creature for each of its evolutions. Something like this might take a while for them to even get out to us. One item might take months for the artists to get out.

You have a point, but yeah, I think the consensus is that younger users do like cute things and so the cute style serves the site's purposes well. But we're all here discussing the fact that we also enjoy other kinds of creatures.
