Mine isn't as slow as yours, but it does take a while for my creatures to load in my cove. Usually it takes a few seconds but now it takes about 5 minutes.

I live in two places and my cove is slow in both. :I

Hello! I am new here and do hope to get used to this site. So far it's been great. The creatures are very different, too. There's so many varieties! Let's all hope it'll be adventurous here in Egg Cave. Oh, by the way, is there anything I need to know before I get started? Just to be safe.

Nah, the removal of CC gifting was never about money. Why should it be? It's just CC being moved around the site, the money's already in the system so it's not an issue that way.

Any insinuation that this update was motivated by profit is completely false. Ian has commented earlier on the matter and even explained how this decision is much less, if at all profitable than some users may claim. Money was not at all considered when removing the Gifting feature....

Since the recent update of the beta profiles, EC has been taking forever to lead! (And it's not my internet, every other site is loading just fine).

I logged on a 12:00 ECT. It took me til 12:41 just to get to the page to make a new topic.

Is it just me, or is everybody else experiencing this too...

I would love to have a Foo. I'm trying to become more active on this site again, and a Foo might really help me to do that. And they're very fluffy, and remind me of Sam, my kitten who is awesome. I know. A fox reminding me of a cat is kind of wrong, but whatever.

My Reason Would be because I REALLY Adore Foxes so much and don't seem there are as many Realistic like Pets on the Site and I'm a very big freak about Animals...

BUT again Foxes are Soooooo cute also I'm hoping for to down soon on the pets that are easy to get and get somewhat rares 😋...

Completely agree with what @april__ says. Only the staff themselves will know when a new mod is needed for the website. And we can't go assuming that some aren't doing anything simply because they're not posting around the site, because we just don't know.

I don't really think it's fair to make assumptions. Maybe some mods don't post as much, but perhaps they help out the site in different ways we don't know about?

@littlepuffyball Hm, this is true. I guess some mods are a bit more busy these days and don't have as much time for Egg Cave anymore. And this site is growing quickly, so I do think it is time for some new mods.

And I've seen some many people that could qualify as mods. ❤️

@nixon You get coins or Egg Coins (EC) mainly by feeding creatures. You can also get some EC by participating in the daily questions of the site trivia (it doesn't help much but if your answer is correct you earn around 1000 EC). You can also put creatures at the trade center and trade them for EC....
