@darkladyinside Welcome! Hope you like the site alright 😊

@julie I think what they mean is Egg Cavern is not an Egg Cave site. A fan started it (or a mod) and it's just something to help Egg Cavers. It's not connected to the site so Ian can't do anything about it. I think.

@calicogoldfish@meteriod@orderedchaos@izzfred@spirithawkDid I miss anyone? XD Well anyway. I read this whole thread from top to bottom and have come to my own conclusion. Basically, I think it would be nice not to have these little kids on here annoying you constantly with their begging. Howev...

@dragon22 http://eggcave.com/explore/faqYou may go to that link and learn anything you need to learn about Egg Cave; whether you're curious or not. It has a lot of useful information you may take into consideration. If you have any problems or site questions in general post here: http://eggcave.com...

Hi I'm dragon22 and I joined this site because it looked cool and interesting. I hope that I'll be welcome here.

@calicogoldfish @izzfred I really think so. I mean I was 9 when I joined this site (5 months ago. OMG today is my annervirsery). I'm 10 right now and have a lot of experience. I think that maybe we should have how old we are on our profile (if parents don't want them to see, they can take i...

@crescentfeather I know, it doesn't stop them. But many times they are caught because they act immature or spell terrible. I'm on an art site that only allows 13+ and people get caught all the time over there for being underage while saying they are 19. It's actually not hard at all to find them...

If anything, any stricter age limit would have an effect on the Forum/Private Messages than the entire site in general. It would indeed be unfair to suddenly deny access to the whole site because of an age limit. As stated before, though, there is an age limit of 13 without parental consent regardle...

I must disagree to this point. Honestly, most of the people with bad grammar and spelling that I have seen are over thirteen years old. And it does seem a bit unfair to the younger players of eggcave. I know, this might seem a bit like discriminating, but children are mostly what help run the whole...

@spirithawk That argument does not stop the site from being legally obligated to comply with Federal Law.
Meteoroid • 12 September 2012 at 7:12 PM
@calicogoldfish A permanent ban from the site removes the account as well, so there isn't a public banner on an account reading "This User is Banned" or anything.
calicogoldfish • 12 September 2012 at 7:12 PM
@spirithawk Not really, I'm on DA and most of the younger kids are already showing they aren't mature because they are joining a site they know full well is for 13+, no ifs or buts.I've seen so much drama associated with younger people on DA because they can't accept that other find their artwor...
spirithawk • 12 September 2012 at 7:07 PM
@calicogoldfish Some young users are incredibly mature. So you're just saying get rid of all the users under the age of 10 years? I think it would be unnecessary and kind of rude. Look at the Warrior Cats Website, look at Deviant Art, look at all those websites with Age Limits. Most children who are...
Meteoroid • 12 September 2012 at 6:18 PM
@calicogoldfish Technically there is an Age Limit as you must be 13 years or older to access the site, unless with parent's permission. Of course, we have no way to determine if your parent knows you're on Egg Cave or not.

Okay, maybe people will hate me for this, but I feel like there should be one. I am 20 right now and have a hard time reading half the posts on egg cave because some users have a very hard time spelling correctly.I think the age limit should be 11, because by then users know how to read and type (...

@solaris I know Horwse does this if your account remains inactive over two years :x It helps clear up their site

There is the immortality feature, but what if Egg Cave one day gets to be as big as say... Neopets.Because there are so many dead accounts there, they delete the oldest ones. So maybe Egg Cave will decide to do this too as it gets bigger. So, maybe then.... 😋
calicogoldfish • 12 September 2012 at 12:25 PM
@Meteoroid Thanks, I forgot about the immortality feature xD I just remember before Tims and creatures died all the time :x

@opal_dreams Hm... @grgothebunni 's Foo died without any occurances of glitches or site problems, It died of hunger, and now it is alive ^^ Special thanks to @essieh who wrote the ticket, and I thought it could never be recovered, It was recovered, The IMPOSSIBLE became POSSIBLE 8D

@Meteoroid Ian said that he could only restore creatures that have been lost through glitches and site problems. He said he couldn't revive my mo which died like 2 or 1 day before I sent the mail. I am not sure if it was or is correct but I just thought I shld put it forward just to let you guys kno...

@ayanel - Hey, welcome to the site. 😊
Meteoroid • 11 September 2012 at 11:03 PM
With the immortality feature, such an incident will never see the light of day for all the older creatures such as Macbots or Onnys. But, if for some reason they all disappear some day, I could imagine that there may possibly be a re-release of them as it would no longer have an effect on users. As...

@lonelysnowbird Just a friendly reminder that asking for feeds/clicks/views is not allowed. If you want to create a feed exchange or contest that's fine, since you are giving back to the community in some way (feeding or prizes). But asking for only stats is considered to be a form of begging.Th...

@lonelysnowbird @twilight_raptor @karamel Are correct. This site does not support BB Code. If you want to make a link to your creature, use the eCode. The eCode guide is here, http://eggcave.com/forums/ecodeI made this link to help you get to your creature, lil eggie I think it...
