@piucca I'm thinking about buying the Babmboo Pen Tablet 😊 Its only $50-$75 and the reviews are excellent and it has 5 stars....it also says great tablet for a starter tablet user 😊 I love drawing and stuff so I'll use it everyday 😊 Im buying one so I can improve the art on my site, www.glitterm...

Admittedly, I do sometimes think $5 for a creature is a tad much when I'm broke, but I'm not going to push for lower prices because of that. I like that the Cash Shop helps run this wonderful site and am willing to pay a bit of my money to keep it going for years to come~ ...I just need to get a job...

lizardfeather • 1 September 2011 at 9:24 PM

@balletninja That's the point though 😋 He'll get more because people are more willing to spend it 😸 And the ads cover the majority of the site costs anyway 😉

EDIT: Nevermind the ads don't cover that much ^^" That was a silly assumption to make when I know nothing about this kind of thing. S...

elysian • 1 September 2011 at 5:41 PM

@iulianna1 - There's probably a large delay between the idea and it actually being drawn. The site probably has reserves of creature ideas, just because it's not here this month doesn't mean it wasn't accepted.

sinnerishimaru • 1 September 2011 at 1:35 PM

Hi, I'm Kind-of New Still. Not really sure how this site works. but I really like it so far! i'm looking for friends, i'm not very shy so don't be afraid to message me!

mzlexipooh • 1 September 2011 at 11:55 AM

meez.com, its a pretty cool virtual site

dreamer • 1 September 2011 at 11:52 AM

@Cubexline Yeah, I used to have Nicktrop. xD Moonstars6 seems familiar for some reason... 😱 When it came out I saw a commercial, and I ran over to try it. I stoped playing though, only for Shocktober and Shocktober 2. But they didn't have Shocktober 3, so I just quit the site after that. xD
For Gai...

sotheavey • 31 August 2011 at 10:00 PM

I don't know many interesting virtual sites then 😋

@chatial
I know >.<

Just throwing out the suggestion of the site though~

chatial • 31 August 2011 at 9:59 PM

@Sotheavey
I never liked that site.
Its a lot like Club Penguin, little kids trying to 'date' over the internet. /:

However, this is just my opinion.
@Meixiaotian
I was just stating some sites she may be interested in and my opinion.
That's all(:

pipkitten • 31 August 2011 at 8:31 PM

@Dreamer: Really? Haha, I'm addicted to that site... XD

I think that gaiaonline.com lets you walk around places... It's been awhile, so my memory's a bit foggy.

dewpaw • 31 August 2011 at 8:30 PM

Hey, FYI people who are from districts who's Industries are unknown!!!!!

The official Capitol website opened, and if you click on the seal and drag your cursor to the right far enough they have a pie chart with all this districts industries on it!

dreamer • 31 August 2011 at 8:26 PM

@rooton1 That's in different language. And seems kinda... Iffy. >.<

@Pipkitten Actually, I made an account on Subeta a while ago. 😱 It was okay, just a bit confusing for me. I don't go on too much anymore. o.o

I'm also looking for a site where you have an avatar and you can walk it around...

pipkitten • 31 August 2011 at 8:25 PM

@Dreamer: Maybe you'd like Subeta.net 😊 It's a fun adoptables site and has some pets that are wolf-like. ...But here are some bloody things (as in BloodRed colored pets).

(It's not a 3D walk around site, though.)

dreamer • 31 August 2011 at 8:24 PM

@Crooton1 *facepalm* Dude. Virtaul world: Site that's 3D and you can walk around with some sort of avatar in a bunch of different places. And I don't really wanna sign up for Glitter Mammals right now. :/

dreamer • 31 August 2011 at 8:21 PM

As title suggests, I'm looking for a site with a virtual world. I'm looking for one because:
A few years ago, there was a virtual world on Nickleodeon called Nicktropolis. I didn't play it too much, usually only in October, because they had this thing called 'Shocktober', which I used to love.
I was...

@elysian

Blast it, now it happened the same thing that happened to you.. Hate the character limit.

I agree that learning at earlier age helps a lot and that's fine. Your tips at the end were really helpful and I have nothing against that. I would love to see the site if it's still active.

@petpet55 - Yup, I realise they are young, but I so wish I had been told this stuff when I was younger. I helped make a site which is fairly popular, only my lack of experience was terrible for the site. :C

I don't want to be elitist about art, but my stuff isn't even that good - Obviously harrypo...

petpet55 • 31 August 2011 at 2:40 PM

@elysian

First off, I saw your art and it's amazing.
I understand it's hard making a site and it DOES cost money to do so. That's why I'm currently having the idea of my own site on hold. I really wish you luck and you have great chances of being successful.

Second off, they are both young and I k...

harrypotter123698 • 31 August 2011 at 1:39 PM

Well..I started Glitter Mammals back in May cause Egg Cave inspired me to make a site. Everything went well. I then got crooton1 to be a moderator for my site and we now have even more features! I'm doing this, cause I wanted to have a site that people can play for ages! 😊 I'm implementing 2 new fe...

elysian • 31 August 2011 at 1:33 PM

@crooton1 - Many people do spend money and a lot of time on hobby sites, mine is a hobby site. I don't want thousands of users, ok, maybe one day, but even without having aspirations to be huge, there are responsibilities and things that people look for.

If you wanted to make a site just because y...

elysian • 31 August 2011 at 1:21 PM

@harrypotter123698 and @crooton1 - Don't forget you can download a free paint program called the GIMP, or you can get a trial of photoshop or paint tool sai (Similar to photoshop but it's $60 after the free trail runs out).

I know I sounded mean, but I have the best intentions by being mean - As a...

harrypotter123698 • 31 August 2011 at 11:37 AM

@elysian It was supposed to be a free to use site where you just get the codes and put them in siggys but....I wanted to change it up a little so lots of the features haven't come out yet. Right now, you have to register for forums BUT you need to register to have a Glitter Planet (feature coming so...

Hey, if you don't want to take the critisism just do the site already. What I say shouldn't upset you if you don't want to hear it. Call me mean and nasty or whatever, I came here to give my honest opinion, wether or not it was welcomed.

And I am assuming a lot by adding 'kids', and I am being incr...

elysian • 31 August 2011 at 10:20 AM

@harrypotter123698 - I have nothing against glitter on images, but the images you put the glitter over are not aesthetic.

@icicle_9510 - Good for you, I guess? o.o; I'm not trying to be mean but if you do want to eventually get some income or have really active players on it, art is a big thing....

harrypotter123698 • 31 August 2011 at 9:13 AM

@lillia Your welcome! 😊 Keep stalking the site, and you'll find the release of Glitter Planets (to store you mammals), Trade Center (coming maybe late september early october) , and the CS! 😃 And tomorrow, stay tuned for the FREE new monthlies program where every month, there is 3-4 new glitter ma...
