Now that they were distracted I had my chance. Suddenly Riley grinned. "Do you like Jade?" He asked.
I was so outraged I just left.

"Ew." Jade looked disgusted. She was feeling an entire different sensation. Oh yeah. Hunger. She didn't eat at the cafeteria. "I'm just gonna avoid the run. I'll be back." Jade said. She walked back to her dorm, changed into skin-tight black skinny jeans and a ruffled shirt. Then she walked into the cafeteria, thought about their mush, escaped out a window, and went to a REAL restaurant.

I then realized Riley just said that so I wouldn't say anything. Still annoyed I kicked a pebble. I walked for a while, sort of bored. Then I heard the sound of someone crying.

Venus smilied to herself. She slipped soundlessly though the forest. She saw the girl hanging aroung the bones of that guard Venus "Disposed of" a few days ago.
Venus started to send her vines forth, to attack the girl.....

Jade saw the vines coming to her. She screamed so loud that she was sure everybody from Super school @smilies could hear her. She started running.... (Catch her 😉)

Venus flinched as the arrows struck her vines, but held her grip. She sent her thorns to rake across the girl's leg, and drain her energy painfully.

I reached the scene and froze for a second with horror. And then the air chilled. Because someone had reached here before me.
Angelina. Her hair whipped round her face in the sudden wind. I'd never seen her look so cold, and yet you could tell she was miserable. But determined. The look in her eyes gave me pause.
But I didn't have time. I ran forward to help Jade.

Jade winced as her leg was badly cut. She drew two knives from the back of her hoodie and taunted Venus, "Ivy would know that I always carry weapons." As Jade threw a knife hoping it'd puncture her shoulder.

Venus was in the shadows of the tree, and Jade was tied up, but Jade still threw with great aim. Venus dodged it just in time.
"Ivy is dead." Venus boomed. "Like you will be."

(FYI - Venus hardly knows anyone, because Ivy's memories are faint. She just remembers them from DEON. )

Venus was taken back from the sudden chill. Her vines froze a bit, and Venus' grip on Jade weakened.

Jade hoped Venus wouldn't notice that she was sliding out of the grip. But she paused around the ankles because the cold winds made Jade so frozen stiff.

Angelina advanced, the grass around her had heavy frost already, and it started to snow...

I was freezing. I had to keep jogging or I was scared my feet would become frozen to the ground. The weather made visibility extremely poor and even with my eyesight I struggled to see more than a few feet infront of me. Where was Jade?

Venus knew when the battle was lost. She already drained some of the energy of the girl, anyway.
Venus let go of the girl and withdrew deeper into the forest.

Jade scrunched out. She was really pale for two reasons. Venus had sucked alot of energy from Jade. And Angel's cold winds were just a dab too cold. Jade gave up trying to stay conscious, and said,"Here we go again." And she passed out.
