I grinned, remembering in DEON how I was immobilized and her making that comment about dragging me... It would be slightly less comfortable outside. I wondered if Jade had any healing power, like my self-regeneration. Or if she'd be out all night. I got out my cell and called the infirmary at the school. Hey, they were already familiar with Jade....

The tree branches snapped like twigs in a sudden wind, and flew at Venus. "As I see it, my territory is everywhere where you can see the sky."

Xavier knew Jade was hurt. He could feel it, but deep deep deep deep deep deep down, when you get the point, Xavier knew he shouldn't go. He'll pretend that he didn't hear, and that he had his headphones on.

Venus growled. "If you want to kill me, just try to." Venus spat.
She smilied as she melding into a tree.

(Is that an okay power? She can hide in trees. 😃 If you hurt the tree, Venus is pushed out of it. 😉 )

"Oh, I will," Angelina smiled at her cowardice and made lightning strike the tree.

People came with stretchers. I felt like I was forgetting something. Oh well. I went to sleep.

Jade's eyes weakly opened. She limped over to the tree next to where Angel striked, and grabbed a leaf from that tree. With two fingers from each hand, she pressed the leaf to her lips, and the sickening sweet scent of the leaf to her put her to sleep, and she collapsed on the floor, sleeping.

Angelina surrounded herself with a wall of air. Power was oozing off her. She shouldn't be able to keep this up. Was her power taking over too? Angel wondered. But this wasn't about her. Venus had to die. Angel slammed the air barrier at Venus.

Venus was thrown into a tree. She was barely consicous, but feebly managed to stand up. She braced her hand on a tree and started to suck the energy out of it.

Angel advanced and kicked Venus away from the tree. Venus was weak. She could finish it here and now. She hesitated. Was this really necessary?

Xavier hesitated. He could also feel Angel's winds. He even knew it would tire out. Xavier could finish any of them off, he had Achilles gift. But, he will see how the results will end up.

"No! I won't do it... Raven!" Raven stalked out of the shadows. "Angelina... You know what I can do. You knows what's at stake."
Angelina turned desperate. "Don't! You can't!" She cried.
"Finish her off!" Raven demanded.
"But......"
"Then I'll do it." Raven walked up to Venus, icy cold.

Venus smilied. She had sucked all the energy out of the grass and young plants around her.
Venus's vines shot out, and aimed at Raven's stomach.

When the vines touched her the area turned black, and went straight through her. Raven smiled. "You didn't even do a good job." Angel looked on in horror.

"Well, that makes you dead, doesn't it?" Raven raised her hand and shadows grew out of the ground, leaving their trees and advancing on Venus, gaining physical form.

"Woah, suggest equallity and someone gets testy." Venus snorted and stood up. She swung a vines towards the shadows before the solidly formed. "But, I feel weak, and don't won't to fight. I'll join you, as long as your weak past self doesn't get in the way of conquest. I don't even remember who were my "friends", so it doesn't matter who I kill. And it better not matter to you."

Jade blew raspberries at him. She looked at her leg. "Guess I'm walking on crutches for a while." And she was delighted when Ariel had left her a teddy bear. Jade hugged it and went to sleep.
