Tricia was silent for a moment. Then she said, "So Venus and Raven are working together? Or are they fighting?"

"Oh. Well, I hope that they.... never mind." Tricia turned away. During her time in the hospital, she had been thinking about DEON. The only thing that she could really say about it was that... she hadn't really done anything. And it was bugging her. She didn't have a useful power. Or a strong one. It seemed like everyone around her was so powerful. And she just couldn't keep up. Tricia started to wonder if she really belonged at this school, which was home to so many amazing people. her eyes became cloudy and distant in her thought, and she forgot that Annabell was there.

Jade prodded Tricia. "Hey, you never noticed I was next to you?" she laughed. "Oh, and I read your mind."

Tricia winced. Personal intrusion? Hello? "Sorry. Umm, just, never mind. You already know. And Venus seems like she's so powerful, and then Angel stopped her just like that, and..... well, I feel kind of useless." Tricia looked down.

Tricia hesitated. "Well, I mean, there's really no way for me to completely take control of the battlefield the way Angel or Venus could. I can't really improve my power. It has big limitations to it's power. I just wish that I could be stronger. And then I could protect others.... instead of needing to be protected...." Tricia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Sometimes I wish that I had a different power."

Annabell flicked Tricia's forehead. "Don't say that. I can't offensily battle, anyway. I had to learn had to use a knife."

"Sometimes you don't need you power to rule the battlefield. Archery doesn't help when your in a small room, but some nifty can, like a knife, or, as I experimented, an orange." Jade laughed.

@tafy789 xD Thanks. That would be why then 😸 You haven't moved xDEveryone was talking so I slipped out of the room, making sure they weren't paying attention. I muffled a sneeze. I needed to have a chat with Angel about friendly-fire, sheesh.

Tricia woke up and stretched, surprised that her bad arm followed her good one in this movement. After testing it for a bit, she concluded that it had healed, and spoke to the medical staff about it. They let her go, and she headed out to train.

I ducked round a corner as Tricia passed. I'm not sure why I didn't want to meet anyone. Mostly just Jade. But anyway. I wasn't actually allowed to leave the hospital yet, but when did I ever consider the rules? Yeah. When I got out, I thought about my options. I didn't want to see Riley, and definitely not Angelina. And Raven? Don't make me laugh. Maybe I'd go out of town for a bit.

Annabell decieded to go train. She worked on a few courses, mainly the one with the least pirahnas.

Jade wasn't asleep. She knew what was going on. A nurse asked her where did Mickey go. Jade pointed ot the opposite direction of where Mickey actually went. The nurse shrugged and left.

@taffy789 xD And I manage to fool myself that I'M inventive >_<It was spitting slightly. I was wearing short sleeves, but I don't mind the cold. I considered getting the bus, but the thought of those horrible seats covered in chewing gum made me walk. I looked up at the sky as I walked. I don't know why. It's just something I do. I don't recommend it though, because one time I nearly fell into a pond. Riley didn't even help, he just stood there laughing. Good times.
