"Rumor has it that some girl at this school stalks every chance to talk to Jasper." Felicia told Jade.
"Oh really?" Jade said, though she knew who that girl was.
Some other girl near them heard, and started texting a bunch of people.

Jade walked down to Jasper's dorm.
Jasper opened the door, and Jade stuck her phone in his face. He was surprised, but he read,

'Ice girl Alice stalks Jasper Crocker!'

By the way, Jade is Jasper's best girl FRIEND.
"Is this true?" Jasper asked Jade, inviting her in.
"What do you think?" Jade shrugged. Hey, Alice was still her friend.
Jasper shook his head. "I think it's not happening."

"Uhh..." He looked at it dumbly. "A... student leaving the grounds?"
"Yess..." She hissed. "A student -confined- to the school grounds!"
"... Oh," he answered blankly.
"So go catch him, you nitwit!" She smashed the screen on his head.
"Righty... Ho," he said feebly.

The girl chewed on her pen as she flicked though the files of the students.
"That girl... She'd given us pretty specific instructions, right?" the young girl asked her twin.
"I wouldn't trust her, but if what she said was true..." the boy threw a pile of files onto the ground. "These- are our targets."
The girl smiled wickedly. "Great!" But then let out a small sigh. "Too bad she said that one guy is a double agent. He was pretty hot."
The boy gave his sister a look of pure horror. "Please, PLEASE, never let me hear you say that again. PLEASE."
The girl grinned. "HE WAS-"
And the young boy's screams of terror were only echoes in the forest.

Jazz's face slid into a pout as grey clouds gathered in the atmosphere dosing her world in drizzle.
More homework?!?
She flicked her hair back in exasperation and tapped her long, polished nails on the desk rhythmically.
The teacher noticed and it earned her a glare.
What's more, that hot guy was waiting outside the classroom for that girl, Nervarda.
Not that Jazz was interested at all. SO not her type.
She gave her friend Danielle a quick smile and an excuse before turning the corridor and making sure no one was around.
"I know you are there, Dusk," she muttered out of the corner of her mouth, and he slowly materialized, although she knew he'd been there all along.
"Stop stalking me, you creep. I'm tryyying to be normal."
Dusk didn't give any sign of acknowledgement but after a moment he faded again and she rejoined Dan, pretending she'd just been to the bathroom.
She supposed the poor guy was just bored out of his skull.

I let out a huge sigh. This IS a living h*ll. But I don't know if I can live with it, I CAN'T be known as a murderer. But somebody finally got a lead on me. They can trace back to my.....

Leon flexed his arm as strolled though a practically abandoned hallway. It still hurt a bit, but was overall good as new. Thank God for healers.
He smiled and paused in the hallway for a second, looking at his arm, clean of any trace of IoD.
Suddenly, he got a prickling sensation from behind him, a sure sign of someone entering his static field, but it felt.... diffrent.
A nanosecond later, a short scream echoed though the hallway.
Leon whipped around, to see a girl backing away from him, clutching her burnt arm, a shocked look in her eyes.
'Oh crud.' he thought, realizing what had happened. 'This CAN'T be happening, please, not right now...I CAN'T be losing control, I CAN'T.'
Leon quickly turned from the girl, and sprinted down the hallway, scared for his life.

Jade woke up from a nap.
Her sight was a bit blurry. So Jade rubbed her eyes.
Nothing changed. "The heck?" she whispered.


--1 hour later--

"Now sweetie. Please don't bump into anything else." a nurse told her in the infirmary.

"I'll tell you this. You need glasses Jade. Your sight has dropped down to 135." she informed her.

--30 minutes later--
"These are too oval. Too round. Too square." Jade complained. Even though she couldn't very well see them.

"Oh no, they aren't together," Lily blinked, wide-eyed.
"You kidding? They were even together at the dance," Dan smirked and doodled on her pad as she walked.
"They were just as friends, Dan," Karen rolled her eyes.
"You surrre about that?" Danielle gave secret smile and they saw Blaine and Nevarda outside on the grounds.
"Duh," Stella rolled her eyes just as Blaine smiled and raised a hand in farewell as he turned and walked away, leaving her. "Besides, he's -way- outta her league, use your eyes."
"Yah," Karen's phone buzzed and she pressed a button then ignored it.
Then Jazz, who had been spacing out, grabbed Dan's hand and pulled her behind a pillar, the rest followed. "Hey, what's up?"
"Oh, that's right," Karen nodded. "We don't want to run into -her-."
They nodded and retreated the way they'd came.

Alex flinched as her foot contacted tree trunk head-on, at high speed. There was a sickening crack and for a moment age feared she'd really gone and done it now, her leg was broken.
Then the wood gave way and fell to the ground.
Standing there proudly, she imagined the tree to embody a foe whom she had just defeated.
Too bad humans don't stay put, she sighed and then cried out as pain hit her.
Her limit, she was always constricted by her own stupid limitations!
I'll push past it! I will! She swore.

Leon finally stopped running, and doubled over in a hallway, panting. Okay, his power WASN'T taking over, but he could still feel the pounding headaches.
But his static field was overflowing. It was MEANT to not let his power build up inside of him, but it had gotten too dangerous. He had to stop it... for now.
He grimanced. That meant he would be the equal to a time bomb, waiting to blow up.
Leon sighed, and straigthned up. He looked into a nearby window, and noticed his hair was so golden, you could hardly notice the brown streaks. His eyes too was the same.
"Just kill me now, please." Leon quietly begged to no one.

*DAYS LATER*

Catcher raced through the woods, not daring to look behind him. Finally out of breath, he stopped and panted hard behind a tree. After roughly thirty seconds of rest, he started running again. Just a few seconds later, he was pinned to the ground by a three hundred pound starving tiger. It roared in his face, shattering his ear drums. Catcher didn't, wouldn't, couldn't meet its eyes, so he instead looked at the pronounced ribcage and filthy fur. It's skin was tightly stretched over a large framework of bones. The tiger batted his face almost tiredly, as if it wasn't ready for a fight. Catcher could imagine that it was ready to drop after running so far. The tiger slammed it's paw onto Catcher's chest, sinking it's claws into Catcher's skin. He gasped in pain. This time, Catcher stared into the tiger's eyes with a look of fear. He almost screamed. The tiger's eyes were human.

Dusk skunk into the art room, eyeing every student with marked hostility. He didn't care what Jazz said: they were the enemy and he wasn't about to go making friends.
He hadn't wanted to come here in the first place, but right now the govt was being titchy about people like them and it was best to lie low.
Of course they shouldn't trust us, since our types hardly have a loyal bone in their bodies.
Still, that wouldn't be a problem if they PAID well.

"Wow. What do you have against tree?" Leon called out to Alex as he appoarched her, with a grin on his face.
'Just my luck, I show up to let out some of my power, and she's already a few steps in front of me. Well, since i'm going to die anyway, better make amends, right?' Leon thought with a sigh.
But he grinned one more and let loose a sphere of pure electrity fly from his hands, that were completely swarmed with electric power, wanting to over flow.
If his hands were deadly before, they sure were now.
The electric sphere made contact with a tree a bit far off, and blew a hole straight in the tree, knocking over in one imense shattering explosion.
"Hehe, beat that." Leon challenged Alex, a spark of content in his eyes, something that didn't really fit him.
Leon felt a surge of pride wash though him as the tree fell. He felt like he could level the entire forest with one wave of his hands. Destory mountains! Smite entire cities! Crush-
He blinked, realizing he'd been staring at the tree like some hungry animal. Leon shuttered. Scary thought.

Alex looked at him with a strange emotion that she hadn't recalled feeling for a long time.
She was afraid.
She didn't know whether she was scared of him, just talking to him, or if she was scared of the power he had just demonstrated, the changes she was noticing... Or maybe she was scared for him.
She didn't back away though: her pride would not allow it.
Her spirit wanted to rise to the challenge: she knew she could beat him anytime with a laser- although that would accomplish nothing.
She'd completely demolish this row of trees in a single blow, no powers, see how he liked that.
Ignoring the pain as she flexed her bandaged arms, she prepared to launch the punch when...
She gasped and fell to her knees, instinctively curling herself into a ball as if it could reduce the pain.
It burned like fire under her skin, bringing tears to her eyes and she cried out. As suddenly as it had started it ended, leaving her cold and shivering, aftershocks still coursing through her body.
What did Riley go do this time, throw himself into a volcano?
Alex felt dizzy when it hit her that she was alone.

Leon was fully snapped back to his senses as he saw Alex fall.
"I didn't mean you should work yourself to death!" Leon quickly shouted worried.
He quicklt bent down at Alex's side, instinctly reaching out....
Leon quickly jerked his hand back at the last second, cussing under his breath.
He angerly shot a few bolts of electricty back into the trees, trying to get rid of the axcess electricty.
But it was like trying to empty the ocean, with more water to fill it's place.
Basically, all he acomplished was making himself rather tired.
Panting, he turned back to Alex, a worried look reflecting in his eyes.
Not being able to shake her awake, to see if she was alive, he poked her with a nearby stick.
"Alex? Are you okay? Well, ofcourse not, but, er- you know what I mean."
