Meanwhile, Tricia had finished her testing, and figured out that she didn't really have a conventional power. She could make art come to life, but she had no idea how to do it. Puzzled, she walked out onto the student grounds during break contemplating her "power". She noticed two girls talking, one trying to find a schedule. Tricia decided, because the other girl seemed to have a hard time finding hers, that she could lend a hand.

"Um, I have a timetable, and I could write you a copy." Tricia offered to the tall black haired girl.

The bell rang, and the students who were ditching class checked to see if their next class was satisfactory.

"Ok, I'll prepare myself for C&C, and your telepathic comments" Tricia said. "Bye! Wait! We have the same class, right? Survival. It seems exciting enough."

Tricia pushed through a crowd of kids, and got to the survival classroom. When she entered she saw a burly teacher who looked like he could make even the toughest soldier pee in his pants. Tricia took her seat, and started drawing the survival teacher. The bell rang to start class, and the teacher glanced at Tricia's drawing.

"YOUNG LADY!" he boomed, shaking the classroom walls. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!"

Tricia cringed. "Umm, I'm drawing..." she squeaked.

"WELL, I'LL LET YOU OFF BECAUSE YOU WERE DOING IT BEFORE CLASS STARTED, BUT NEXT TIME, YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!"

Tricia made a mental note to get earplugs for her next class.

"OK EVERYONE. TODAY, WE WILL BE GOING THROUGH A MINEFIELD, WITH MINES MARKED." the teacher emphasized the word "marked", as if he could get any louder, and marched to a field that was "MARKED".

"SINCE YOU DID SO WELL LAST TIME, SERAEA, WHY DON'T YOU SHOW US HOW IT'S DONE?" the teacher boomed. Tricia was anxious to see how Seraea would do.

"All right."Seraea took a deep breath..and rose into the air.She soared over the minefield gracefully.In the middle she launched four atom balls the end,creating a safe landing pad.With a twist she dropped onto the ground."done!"she announced.

"WELL DONE SERAEA." the teacher said. "NOW, WHO ELSE WOULD LIKE TO TRY?"

Tricia volunteered, and soon was twisting and leaping through the minefield, trying her hardest to not touch the red marks. Once, she lost her balance, and was about to fall backwards, but caught herself by sinking into a bridge. Finally, she was across. "Lucky." she said to Seraea "No one else can levitate."

Summer approached the group. "Hey," she started, and gave a warm smile, she had to make a good impression. "Nice work there. I'm Summer. And you?" she held out her hand to shake. Then she turned to the other one, the one who was doodling in class. "You too, what's your name?"

Ivy walked to plants class, looking at her times table.
1~ C&C
2 ~ plants
3 ~surivial
4~Lunch (yum)

Ivy didn't care about the rest. She sighed and walked towards planrt class. "Wow either everyone's ditching, or there really isn't anyone here." Ivy thought as she walked into the class.
There was only like, 4 other people in the room.
"This is going to be fun." Ivy thought as she slid into a desk.

"Uhhh, I don't really know yet...I think it's setting things on fire." she said with a mischievous grin. Then as Summer was about to continue talking, the coach called her over. "SUMMER, PLEASE DEMONSTRATE YOUR ABILITY TO AVOID MINES." Summer almost broke out laughing, was he serious? Then she noticed the stern look on his face and she paled. "Um...ok." She said. How was she going to clear the field? Well, she started by crouching down to leap, but Summer was surprised when she leaped over two mine markers at once. "Sweet. Now I have jumping powers." Summer was liking this whole school idea. She was learning things she couldn't before. Summer bounded over a couple more mines and ended with a proud bow. She walked back over to Tricia. "Add jumping to my list of powers."

"I hope that I can learn how to harness my power soon, then I could decorate my dorm REALLY easily. Oh, by the way, what dorm number do you have? Mine is Number 5. It says that Number 5 is a double dorm, so two people can stay there."

The bell began to ring. "Whoops, gotta go. I'm taking a lunch break and then I have to head to C&C..." Summer navigated her way to the cafeteria and shoved her way through the line. "Ouch!" "Hey kid, ya gotta wait!" "Back of the line!" they called to her. "Move unless you want your food well done." Summer threatened. She didn't really know if she could control her powers, but the threat go her to the front of the line. Summer walked over to a table and began to eat a greasy cheeseburger.

Tricia watched as her dorm mate managed to get to the front of the line, and saw that they were serving cheeseburgers. Flinching in disgust as one was plopped down onto her tray, she watched sadly as another kid grabbed the last container of berries. Tricia made her way to Summer's table and plopped down. "The food here is not the best I guess, but at least it makes a good still-life subject." Tricia said, taking out her oil pastels and sketchbook.

Summer nodded. She took a blackberry from her berries and popped it in her mouth. "Want one?" she offered a handful of berries out to Tricia.




Btw, as a side note, there are wild blackberries growing outside my house and they are soooo yummy! I swear, they're ten times better than store bought ones!
