"Gal..." Gallade had already fallen asleep when the Counter hit. It was bad, Garett could tell.

"Gallade..." Garett called quietly. He could tell the Gallade was not simply asleep, but he had in fact fainted.

"Garett Reidar's Gallade is unable to battle! Send out your final Pokemon!" The referee announced.

"Return." Garett said. He took a Great Ball from his belt. "Go, Heracross!"

In a flash of light, the blue bug Pokemon burst out of his ball. "Heraaaa!" He said happily.

"Heracross, use number two on Swampert! Make an impression!" Nodding, the Pokemon started out like he was about to do a Megahorn attack, but before he ended the attack, quickly swapped into a Close Combat attack.

((OOC// Just a note, @cinder, Heracross is slightly resistant to the ground-type due to his Bug/Flying typing. x3))

"Good Job Swampert,keep it up."Daniel said approvingly toward his partner who nodded happily back.
Suddenly a blue bur had raced across the field pounding into Swampert,using Close combat,which really damaged Swampert's hp."Another fighting attack?Swampert Counter!"Daniel said trying to keep the tension in his voice to the bare minimum,Swampert on the other hand struggled to get onto to feet so charged on all fours landing another critical hit on one of Garett's pokemon.

"Not another critical hit!" Garett bared his teeth in frustration. "Heracross, let out your number three!"

The bug/fighting-type knew that he had already tried his usual megahorn-into-close combat strategy, so he couldn't reverse it.

"Whrrrrrcross!" He said, and dived -- insanely quickly for a Heracross -- into the Swampert, and let out his Megahorn attack.

((This is probably not going to be a popular announcement, but I am totally swamped next week. >_< I have no less than three different academic competitions plus school and homework, so my life will be chaotic. As a result, I probably will not be on EggCave at ALL next week. Sorry!

In the meantime, finish up with the semi-final battle, @dragonstorm78 and @cinder. Don't feel rushed--you have plenty of time--I'd just like it to be over by the time I get back. ^^;

As for all you contest-goers, look to @pegasasu. She decides when the next round starts and how that rolls. You can get as far in the contests as she deems correct.

As for the Team Rocket thing, try not to do anything TOO decisive/game-changing. Feel free to mess around though. Maybe someone else can make a Team Rocket character so mine won't be the only non-NPC? X3

Next week is pretty swamped for me too. Wednesday is jazz band auditions. Thursday is all county practice for two and a half hours. Friday is FIVE HOURS of all county practice. Saturday is five hours of practice plus the concert. Monday and Tuesday is trying to work ahead on HW. O.o BAH school... I'll make the battle pairings. Let me just make sure the list of coordinators is right first.

As Armin trained his Lucario in the practice arena, Diva walked through the quiet town, she loved snow, it was one of her favorite things, it made her happy to just stare at it as it softly fell. But she knew she had work to do, so she tried to ignore the snow and continued looking for strange sightings, she knew of several things to look out for, people with an R on their uniform, people dressed up like knights with a P on their uniform and people with really strange uniforms and weird blue hair, they where the ones she needed to look for.

Suddenly she did see one, it was no doubt a member of Team Galactic, he was walking into the Pokemon Center with a strange device. "No...! A Galactic Bomb!" She thought. She didn't have time to tell Armin, she had to do something, she wrote on her notepad as she ran into the Pokemon Center. "Gardevoir!" She yelled when she got inside. Everyone looked at her like she was crazy.

"Hey, that's the shiny Gardevoir that that weird flustered guy was with." A man said. Diva handed her notepad to the man. "Let's see, Galactic Bomb in the building." He read. "Evacuate." He began to panic. "What? Where is this bomb?" Diva pointed to the Galactic Grunt running up to the union room area. "Gardevoir." She said before running up after him, she didn't even take the time to take her notepad back from the man.

Heracross had flew up, over the Hydro Pump, and dodged it.

"Finish him, Heracross!" Garett called to the bug/fighting-type.

"Hera!" The Pokemon knew what to do when Garett called out this line. He was still close to the Swampert. Heracross quickly used Brick Break on the weakened Pokemon.

Everyone in the Pokemon Center ran out of the building as Diva had told them on the notebook, as soon as everyone was out the building, it blew up. The sound of the explosion could be heard throughout Snowpoint. "What the- What's going on?" Armin and Rex ran out of the practice arena. The Pokemon Center was up in flames and everyone was talking about a shiny Gardevoir and a Galactic grunt. "Diva! Where is she? Is she all right?" Armin asked. "I'll go look for her." Rex told his master before running off. "I don't think anyone can survive an explosion like that..."Armin thought. He went to see if anyone knew anything. "Excuse me, have you seen a blue Gardevoir with an orange shoulder bag?" He asked several people. But no one seemed to know where Diva was, let alone the whether she was okay.

"Oh, let's just say that if you see him, preforming a headlock and calling the cavalry could pay off, as in, you won't need to tire out your bird Pokemon by flying, there'll be a private jet waiting for you," Ran rolled her eyes. "And all I get is, nag nag nag. Well, that's enough work for one week. C'mon Nat," she yawned. "All these people working out is making me tired."
After that she headed for her cheap hotel.

"No Swampert Counter it!"Daniel Quickly added his voice slightly stressed."Swampert.."Swampert did his best to try and block the fighting type move with a powerful counter thrusting the her across backward but he was to late,only getting a minor hit on the opponent before collapsing."Swam...pert."Swampert groaned,"Good job Swampert,you gave them a good show."Daniel smiled ever so slightly returning his tired Swampert.'Heracross,oh Arceus should I send him out?well it's the perfect option but too theatrical....oh well' Daniel thought shrugging."Let's go Butterfree!"Daniel called."Free!"Butterfree replied gently making it's a appearance gracefully with a small cloud of sleep powder making it's crystal translucent wings glow.
"Butterfree use your twirl combo!"Daniel called smirking,Garett isnt the only one with code anymore."Butter..Freeeeeee!"Butterfree sang happily as it twirled happily around high in the sky scattering large unavoidable clouds of light green powder which made the audience "ooh"and "Ahhh!"

Hey, I think I'm going to drop out of this, I can't really get motivated to do this anymore, I think it's the lack of something to make happen, I don't really have any ideas. Besides, I haven't really talked to anybody and it seems like my posts are being ignored anyway. So obviously my character was an awkward addition to the roleplay and my ideas don't jive, so good luck with the roleplay everybody.

Oh, I just want to let you know though, I'm not blaming anyone for my lack of ability to fit in here and I don't want you to think I'm sad sacking either, I'm just kind of done with this and I'm stating the obvious: I don't fit, so I'm dropping out.

Garett wasn't too happy about this change of events. Part of him wanted to shout to Daniel, "Y U USE SO MANY SLEEP MOVES?!" But he didn't.

What he had forgotten was that Heracross was, too, a Bug-type Pokemon. He had been through a surprising number of sleep attacks over the years (well, months,) they had been together.

After wondering if this Butterfree was, in fact, a contest Pokemon, Heracross had fallen asleep. Or, rather, he had fallen half-asleep, as his eyes were barely open and he was whirring like a human would snore.

"Heracross! Use Two-into-one!" He said, hoping the sleeping Heracross would be able to sleep walk.

"Whrrrrrrrrrr..." The bug/fighting-type said in muffled tones. He slowly walked toward the Butterfree, and swung his arm at her. Garett facepalmed.

"Ack." This was Garett's only reaction to the oncoming attack. Heracross had embarrassingly fallen asleep, and was sprawled in the middle of the battlefield. There was no doubt this attack was going to hit him.

"Good Dream eater Butterfree,now use acrobatics!"Daniel added,"Free-ee-ee!"Butterfree chirped,Butterfree raced by the now sleepy pokemon,using a slightly more powerful flying attack since Acrobatic is more powerful when the user isn't holding an item.Butterfree gracefully twirled in the air causing the gently falling snow to shift directions as the pokemon made it's way toward it's opponent using it's deadly and elegant attack.
