Cloud slid away from Cody awkwardly, seeing Beautifly dropping mistletoe languidly. The Pokemon fluttered its wings, exemplifying its pulchritude, flying around in the light winter breeze.

Umbreon glared at the other Umbreon with suspicion in narrowing black eyes. A growl rose in the apprehensive Pokemon's throat, a rumble like the deep crackle of the fire.

Bella smiled nervously at Cloud and then looked as Beautifly eyed Daniel mischievously and then landed back on Bella's head."Beauuutifly!"Beautifly chirped delightedly,"Ehehe good job spreading christmas cheer Beautifly."Bella said as she returned Beautifly.
Bella then turned to Sirius,"Well I'm battling Janet, and Daniel is battling Sakura."Bella said brightly.

@dragonstorm78 Just have Heracross faint from whatever attack Butterfree did last. Then the ref can declare the battle over and there's a brief wait before finals.

The Acrobatics attack was much more effective than Garett had expected. It knocked the Heracross to the ground, and worse yet, the Butterfree seemed to have let out a little Sleep Powder while doing it.

"HERACROSS!" Garett yelled.

The referee looked at the Pokemon. He then looked at Garett.

"He fainted," the trainer said. "Besides, he's in a deep sleep. I don't have the heart to make him wake up."

Garett saw the referee nod. He put up the flag. "Heracross is unable to battle! Daniel wins the round!"

Margot pushed into the cafe, shivering and breathing heavily, with her scarf pulled up all the way to her nose. After shaking the snow off her boots, she pulled the scarf down to expose her face, cheeks blazing from the cold. Snowflakes had embedded themselves in her hair, but oddly enough, a mere few clung to her jacket. There were six Pokeballs at her belt.

Noticing Bella and her friends a little ways over, she gave an awkward wave and shuffled over to the table. "I was walking back from the Pokemon Center when the blizzard set in," she explained, trying to peel off her gloves. "It's wild out there--they might have to move the final battle inside."

Margot tipped her head in acknowledgment of Daniel and some kid she hadn't seen around before. "Oh, good job at the semi-finals," she added to Daniel. "Looks like we'll be seeing each other again in an hour." Her hand brushed absently at the new Pokeball at her belt, as if assuring herself it was still there.

"Nice to meet you," she murmured, and turned to look at the other unfamiliar kid as well. "Nice to meet you, Sirius and Flame." 'Cyndaquil,' she thought to herself. 'Nice choice.' "After this tournament, I might have to quit my day job," she responded jokingly to Brent. "I never thought I'd be moving to finals."

Crystal shuffled nervously, checking her watch.
The finalist for the next competetion, Margot, was in front of her, and Crystal knew she had to find out what exactly the Rockets were up to.
Something with the competion, most likely.
And they have Tran...
Crystal straightened, put on her best, friendilist smile, and strolled up the Margot.
Umbreon kept in perfect stride with her, and Absol followed.
Suddenly, a chill went though the air as Absol's muscles tightened, following Crystal more cautiously.
Crystal took no notice, however, since she knew what it meant.
"Margot! I see you made it as a finalist?" Crystal shouted happily, and then nodded at Sirius, accoknowledging him as well.

Margot thought for a moment, considering whether it was smart to discuss the members of her team. The crowd had already seen most of them, she realized, so she might as well mention the ones that wouldn't be a surprise if she were to use them. "Houndoom," she began--Ramses was always the first to come to mind. "Porygon-Z, Skarmory, Lampe--sorry, Chandelure. She just evolved recently, I'm not that used to it. The last one is a secret," she finished with a devious smile. "I'm still allowed to have one trick up my sleeve for finals."

Margot looked startled to see Crystal yet again. She forced another smile, but unlike the one she provided Brent, this one looked authentic. "Hey, good to see you," she replied warmly. "Yep, we're really doing well today. Last battle's in an hour, are you coming to watch?"

Sirius nodded smiling,"Of course. Surprise is always the best stategy and your other pokemon are awesome to. I have a charmander,a snivy, a luxio, a chimchar, a ditto, and of course Flame." He said counting off his pokemon. Then noticed Crystal behind Margot he nodded back. "Umm Margot someone wants you,"he said gesturing toward Crystal.

"Great to see you to." Crystal nodded, smiling.
"I think you did great in the competion. Yes, I am going to go to the last battle. But first, I feel kinda hungry. I hope I don't have to search everywhere for a hotdog stand." Crystal laughed, maintaining a prefect voice tone as she said the entire setences.
They seemed causal enough, but she'd noticed Absol tensing. He only did that when a Rocket was around, since, being a disaster Pokemon, could even predict when someone was not to be trusted.
The word "Search" used after that meant to go indentify the Rocket, which was a technique taught to him by Crystal herself.
After hearing the command, Absol padded over to Margot, looking up at her, blinking his brillant black eyes as if nothing was wrong.
Crystal made sure her smile didn't fade.
"It looks like Absol likes you." she commented, still smiling.

Crystal then jumped when Belle hugged her. Even training at the GPA didn't stop the pain from a rib-cracking death squeeze. "Hi, Belle." she gasped, as the girl let go of her.

Umbreon tensed, though it was unnoticeable.
"I had to put him in the PC for a while, he's with Oak." Crystal lied lofitily. "I wanted my other friends to see the sights."
She patted Umbreon, forcing a genuine looking smile.

"We're in a cafe," Margot reminded her, gesturing toward the counter. Having warmed up sufficiently, the color had begun to fade from her face. "There's plenty of food here."

She frowned as the Absol approached her, taking a step away from it. "Absol can sense when bad things are going to happen, right?" She studied its eyes, which told her nothing, but its posture looked tense. "Remind me to keep my shoes tied," she added playfully, hand once again falling to the sixth Pokeball at her belt. She brushed its surface, again reassuring herself it was still there, and then buried her hands in her pockets.

"How are the contests going?" she asked the both of them, scanning the Pokemon in the room. It might not be a bad idea to let her Houndoom stretch his legs in a non-battle environment. However, there was the problem of that Absol; something told her the two dark types wouldn't get along. With a shrug, she glanced over toward the counter.

"Absol, heel boy." Crystal called out, this time with genuine playfullness in her voice.
Absol shoot her an annoyed look, as if to say, "If not your Growlithe!", but still got the message and strolled back, talking his place by Umbreon.
"Don't worry, Absol here stinks at find disasters. The last one he warned us about was a pebble falling onto a colony of Durants."
Absol shoot Crystal another dirty look, while Umbreon laughed in Pokelanguage.
Crystal glanced at the counter, wondering if she should go ask Gardevior to go get her some, since she didn't feel like walking, or letting Margot out of her sight for a while.
Actually, she wasn't she that Margot was a ROCKET, for she could be a current or even Ex member of any no-good-doer group in the regions, or even a Meowth burglar or something. Eitherway, it would be wise to keep an eye on her, especially since she was a finalist...
