The Competition of the Islands

You have been chosen for a competition called The Islands. Whether or not you would be in The Islands was determined the day you were born. Once you reach the age of fourteen, the government will decide if you are ready for the competition. In The Islands, competitors will be put into groups of three. Each group will be put on a seperate island with different surroundings/scenery/climate. Each island will have different threats. The group that wins will be the group with the most members left alive. In the event of a tie, a single person will be placed on an island different than the first, and only one may survive. (More details to come, maybe.)

Personality: She likes to make up for being short, so she has a loud outgoing personality. She can become almost threatening at times, especially if she feels like she is being teased.

Why they had kept that from her she did not know, but now she was fourteen, she could not evade fate any longer. She was to fight to death. To survive on an island. That was possibly filled with Grievers.

Sylvia walked through the street with her eyes flashing with anger. Her mother and father had said nothing would be wrong. They were wrong. Sylvia ignored all the peoPle crowded around her, she was popular but that cant help you in the competition of islands. What use is this? Her boyfriemd walked up and tried to hug her. She pushed him away and glared at everyone. She got home and slammed the door shut. Sylvia acted like nothing was wrong for it would be her last day home, she wanted everyhing to go well.

Reno couldn't breathe the day he'd been told the news. It wasn't fair! They shouldn't be able to decide things like that before you're even born. It was hard to think, that next morning, or the day after that, he could be dead. Reno spent the whole day hiding out in his room. He didn't have anyone he wanted to say bye to anyway.
