That's true, though the definition of humanoid is incredibly broad and can even refer to something that walks on two legs.

I have a hard time telling the difference between anthromorphs and humanoids.

Both definitions are bleh.

I think anthropomorphic is when anything not human, typically other real life animals, is given human-like characteristics. It could be emotions, feelings, talking, etc.
A humanoid is a creature that is human-like in body structure and doesn't necessarily act like a human anywhere else.

It gets all kinds of confusing. 😋

As far as I understand anthromorphs..... On the internet terms... Not the actual definition I learned in psychology...

Basically when people draw wolves or pokemon like humans. That sort of thing.

In Psychology terms, I know what it means. But people use it on the internet to refer to a human like wolf, or a human like pikachu.

I have a friend obsessed with anthromorphs. He thinks they're so cool.

Wow I'm confusing. I understand what anthropomorphism is. It's just that people use it as a term on the internet. But maybe they should be using the term 'humanoid,' instead. Perhaps...
