Yup, I go by block schedule, each class is 85 minutes long.

1st Block: Civics
2nd Block: Health
- Lunch break - (30 minutes)
Advisory (15 minutes)
3rd Block: Algebra
4th: Science

I learned NOTHING from that school.

I agree, 6th grade is middle school. Not elelmentary school.
Although some elementary schools go from grades K-6.

I felt like I was being treated as a dog.
LITERALLY.
If we did something good we'd get awarded a small plastic coin that we hand in at the end of the day and gets counted into our coin bank, once we reach a certain amount we can select our prize, here are the following prizes that I recall:

1) Car washing
2) Reserved table lunch (You choose your own meal and can have seconds, completely free)

But seriously, CAR WASHING!? Talk about child labor.
I actually got the reserved table for me and my friend, we got corn chowder(x

I felt like my middle school was purposely trying to fail us.

Same here. Mondays-tuesdays and Thursdays -Friday, periods are half an hour. But on Wednesday, their each an Hour. But we still get out of school an hour earlier, so I like them😊

Only half an hour? Ours are 45 minutes each. Which makes 1 and 1/2 hour per subject.
