I'd have this to add... Isn't the weighed rarity calculated all the time? Wouldn't that mean that by breeding certain creatures, you'd increase their rarity index and make them a lot "cheaper"? And make the other ones "more expensive"? It would be a constant change in prices... Hahaha, and then in a couple of years when Yeeps got the most expensive, we'd see who'd be laughing! 😋

Breeding is one of those things that is ok IF it is part of a game from the beginning. Adding it in latter is a bad idea and tends to create more problems than it solves.
Hybrids are an even worse idea. You think it takes forever for creatures to come out now. Just think of how long it would take the artists to draw EVERY single combination of creatures. And every time new creatures would be released they would have to draw an extra 150+ creatures. It would be a nightmare.

So, as always, I do not support breeding.

I think it's a good idea, but it wouldn't be practical for anything bought with real cash. Cave creatures, maybe, but not cash shop creatures. That would just undermine the whole point of buying them.

Yes, it has been rejected.
But this time, people would actually have to work - and work HARD - to breed, at least for the rarer creatures. It wouldn't cause an overload of Tines, Onnies, etc.

I agree, but there should be some strict limitations, like there are in the Town Hall for name changing.

The EC prices seem right, and it would bring the life back to Egg Cave. I support the idea, though I think it should be limited to breeding rares once a month, to not being able to breed rares at all.

I wouldn't say breeding commons would be free, because it's not necessarily just a regular old cave egg just because it is common. People have been buying an awful lot of Yukis, Corphexes, and Crystars, so they would most likely count close to commons eventually.

Now, how rare would a CS creature be if everyone bred them together for free? Eh, I wouldn't like Egg Cave so much anymore... :/

@snowball888111 - I like it, but I think the prices are a little high... I think to solve the hybrid problem is to basically use a fifty outta fifty chance generator, basically a coin toss program to which creature is going to get bred.

@cqpkytty - well, you could get a garguatih as well, but I'm assuming that if you do it by rarity, the creature with the smaller rarity index would have that chance out of 300 (I think it goes up to) to be chosen to get an onny...

I kind of support this. But you would have to have both species to breed (not just asking someone else to drop their Tine off so you can breed with the Tine). And instead of hybrids, there would only be one egg produced and it would be either species of the parents.

Kind of like breeding on Dragon Cave.

1) feeding about a hundred trillion pets
2) trading creatures for EC
(or some combination of both)
It's SUPPOSED to be very difficult.

And don't say something like 'the rares won't be rare anymore', because look at the prices.
Onny, Macbot, Doovoo, etc. would mean TEN TRILLION FEEDS!
And even things like the Calla would mean TEN MILLION feeds.
