Wolves of the forest: will you lead your pack?

@smilies ~ Well, he thinks all of his pack is dead. I'm debating if he should have some more wolves, but I areadly have 3 charries to keep up with. 😋

BrightStar's jaws were tightly locked onto the bear's neck. GrayFlood stared up at BrightStar in horror. "Run!!" BrightStar egerntly shouted to GrayFlood.
GrayFlood took off into the bushes.
The bear shook his back and clawed at BrightStar, who still didn't let go. "Run GrayFlood, run!!!" BrightStar thought to herself before she blacked out.

Avi grinned. for once in her life, she had a companion. not a pack, but someone who will at least listen to her.

suddenly she stops, hearing a rustling on the other side of the bush. forgetting everything that had just happened, her brain switched to hunt mode and she shot foreward, completely ripping the bush out from the ground. she tried pulling her claws out, but had edged themselves in a branch. before the poor creature had a chance, avi with the bush was on top of a doe. there was a loud CRACK and she knew it was dead. an odd way to kill a deer, maybe, but it worked. "eternal! you hungry?" she yelled realizing she left a friend behind.

Solah ran forward to help BrightStar. She grabbed hold of it's leg and bit it hard. It let out a low roar. She kept chewing and moved to the other leg. Solah made a lucky shot and hit a nerve as the bear toppled over. "BrightStar, here's our chance!" she cried, pinning the massive animal down as best as she could.

C: Hmm. Running straight out of the forest. The thing about forests is that they are rarely straight. Cast kicked a stone in frustration. It hit the river with a soft "SPLOOSH" sound and sunk to the bottom. Getting lost in the middle of an unknown forest, laced with wolves who had good reason to be hostile, plus other unknown dangers, and it was getting late. He felt like howling but continued as quietly as possible.

EF: Eternal watched with a combination of surprise and amusement as Avi tackled the doe. It definitely wasn't what she had thought Avi's hunting style would be. "Eternal! You hungry?" Avi yelled over her shoulder. "Sure." Eternal smiled. "Thanks."

BrightStar quickly awoke. She bit down on the bears's neck. All of a sudden, a claws shot up and clawed her side. Screaming in pain, she finished the bear off. "Solah, I think it's dead, can you go find GrayFlood? He ran off into the bushes."

C: Cast's ice-blue eyes narrowed as he search every shadow for hostiles. He took a step forward.
CRACK!
The branch beneath his paw broke violently, making such a loud noise birds took to the sky in alarm and Cast did something similar. He then looked down at the broken branch, cursing it mentally.

GrayFlood ran though the forest, he didn't know where he was going, but he wanted to get away.He hoped BrightStar is safe, he knew that she would suvive the bear, but at what cost???

GrayFlood heard a loud crack. He turned and looked at a huge wolf. "Who are you!!" GrayFlood screeched, his hair bristling.

~ @taffy789 He has dark gray back that fades into white on his underside. He's a mixed breed and had ice-blue eyes as previously stated, which change shade of blue slightly with his emotion. He has a few scars but nothing big. He's quite young, 5 or 6 years, maybe more. ~

GrayFlood stared at the wolf. "Well, who are you!! " he growled at the dark gray wolf. He had a faint memory of this wolf, but he couldn't remember where he had seen him.

Solah nodded at BrightStar. "Got it. I'll find him as soon as I can." the golden she-wolf moved swiftly through the trees, following Grayflood's scent. "Grayflood! The bear is dead! You can come back!" Solah whispered, and she suddenly walked in on Grayflood and a wolf with startling blue eyes. "Uhh, hello." Solah mumbled, trying to seem friendly, but failing.

C: A loud screech sent Cast catapulting backwards in shock and he nearly fell into the river. Cast dug his claws into the edge and stared wide-eyed at the cub, whose fur was sticking out like a hedgehog. "Well, who are you!! " the other wolf growled, swiftly recovering. Cast stammered, not sure what to say. "Ummm..." He looked around wildly. "I- I'm Cast..." He choked out. He started to recover from the shock and looked at the cub more clearly. "Who are you?"
Suddenly another scent reached his nose and a new wolf came into view. She mumbled something, he didn't hear what but it didn't sound very friendly. Cast took an automatic step backwards, frightened. Which resulted in him falling into the ice-cold river.

"Whoah! Calm down, we won't hurt you." Solah soothed the wolf, who had just failed into the freezing river. "Who do you ally yourself with, CrimsonFang or another leader?" She wanted to make sure Cast wasn't a WildClan wolf.

Luckily, he knew how to swim, and after 8 seconds of shock he managed to scramble up the back, shivering, shake the water of his coat and utterly die of embarrassment. He then leaped to his feet, ready to do a crazy leap over the river and run like thunder through the forest with dozens of bloodthirsty wolves chasing him and snapping at his tail. He banished the image from his head quickly.
"Whoah! Calm down, we won't hurt you." The older female said in what she clearly thought to be a soothing tone. "Who do you ally yourself with, CrimsonFang or another leader?"
"C-CRIMSONFANG!?!" Cast gasped. That was the name of the evil wolf who had enslaved him. He hated that wolf even more than he hated treesap. (Haha) His eyes shone with an angry blaze, suddenly amethyst.

"You know Crimson Fang?!?" GrayFlood growled. "You better not be his ally , Cause he did horrible things to me!! He also tried to kill BrightStar!!" GrayFlood growled with the fury of a thousand hornets.

Cast felt like he could do anything, run faster than the wind, win any battle. He could fell a tree with a single blow. He raked his claws along the ground, leaving long, deep gashes in the solid bank. Suddenly the fires died. He felt normal again and the amethyst flame left his eyes. Cast stared at the gashes in shock. He tried again and it barely left a mark. Realizing the other wolves where staring at him, he said, "What?!?!" Oh, CrimsonFang. "ALLY?!?! With HIM?!?!" His eyes burned again, but a deep angry blue this time.

GrayFlood relaxed a little. He allowed his tail to wag happily again. He walked over to the wolf, his normal happy self returning. "That's good." GrayFlood stated
"Hi Cast! I'm GrayFlood, this is Solah, and we're are part of a pack called the ThunderFangs! There are lots of nice wolves, and we have plenty to eat! You could always join if you want!" GrayFlood happily told Cast, wagging his tail.

The pup relaxed and wagged his tail like a dog.
"That's good. Hi Cast! I'm GrayFlood, this is Solah, and we're are part of a pack called the ThunderFangs! There are lots of nice wolves, and we have plenty to eat! You could always join if you want!" "Grayflood" wagged his tail even more vigorously than before and Cast hid a shaky smile.
"Join? Really, I don't know..." The last thing Cast had expected was such an immediate invitation. He'd only ever been in one pack, and well.... These wolves obviously hated CF, which was good, but it also meant they had met him, and Cast had no idea how he might have hurt them. What if one recognized him? 'It wasn't my fault!' He wanted to howl to the heavens.

Avi dragged herself over to a tree where she tried prying the bush off her claws. it obviously wasnt working so she tried something else.
there were plenty of vines hanging from the tree, so she took one in her jaws and hooked it around the branch. the vine was wrapped around a tree and led up to a huge limb. she backed up to a sturdier tree a nice distance away and bit a couple of vines off of it. she yanked the vines down, and all the vines have to lead somewhere, right? a single source. the vines started pulling each other down with them and eventually the large limb plummeted down and crushed the branch attache to her paws. the force pushed her back, but more than just the branch fell. the vines
were raining down like crazy, eventually she was so tangled in knots, she thought it would have been better just to keep the shrub attached to her claws.
"sorry about this..." Avi said to Eternal. trying to get up, she flipped over and fell face first into the dirt.

Eternal watched in utter confusion as Avi pulled vines down from a tree until she was in a hopeless tangle. "Ummm, was that supposed to happen?" She laughed. "What were you trying to do?"

The wolf seemed frantic. "You just need to relax. There's nothing to fear. CrimsonFang doesn't live near our camp, and we have plenty of food." Solah plucked a few blackberries from a nearby bush and lied them at Cast's feet. "Here, you need some food." she said, popping one of the tangy berries into her mouth. "Do you like blackberries?" she asked.

Sunstorm woke up to faint talking. He walked over to the small pond and washed his face. Then he silently crawled to the cliffside. Far away, he could see a trio of wolves by the stream. He noticed the golden glint of Solah's fur and two other gray wolf. One was smaller than the rest, he seemed energetic and excited. The other was sitting looking quite uncomfortable while clawing the ground. 'Well, It's Solah 's problem,' he thought and shifted into a deep sleep.

Btw I found yet ANOTHER MO!!!!! I'm so lucky!

The other wolf, called Solah, said "You just need to relax. There's nothing to fear. CrimsonFang doesn't live near our camp, and we have plenty of food." She took some strange berries from a nearby bush and lied them at Cast's feet. "Here, you need some food." she said, taking one and eating it. "Do you like blackberries?" she asked.
Cast gave them one look them removed his feet from their general area.
"Are there many of you?" Cast was a little scared of meeting strangers, even though they must be nice if they were friends with Grayflood. "What is she like? Why does she like wolves joining so much?" Cast wondered.

"There's about 10 or more of us. I can name most of us,, but BrightStar says I shouldn't blabber on and on, so I just leave it at that. Also, CT likes family, I guess. She's REALLY NICE." GrayFlood told Cast happily.

Avi soon realized that struggling wasnt going to help. she started biting and slashing at the mess and eventually cleared herself up. she got the deer carcass and dragged it over to where Eternal was standing. "i was only trying to get the shrub off of my claws. all of that wasnt supposed to happen. " she smiled nervously realizing she probably looked like a clown. "anyways, eat this. its not like i went through enough trouble to get it." she giggled as a shred of vine fell off her face.

It sounded too good to be true. Cast cast (haha) a scared look about him. It was probably an ambush, he thought he could take these two if it was a battle, but 10 or more? Well, thought Cast savagely, I can take down plenty with me if it is an ambush. He supposed CrimsonFang had taught him one thing. How to fight.
