"If you run away, they'll kill me!" Val whimpered.

Grayflood stared at the wolf.
"They'd never do something like that in the Thunderfangs." he told the wolf.

BrightStar quickly found the pup's den. A mother growled protectly over her and the stolen pups.
"Come, or if you try to fight, you might be killed in the chaos." BrightStar growled back.
The mother, still angery, gathered her pups. BrightStar herded the stolen pups back.


Lostlight fled. The camp wasn't worth saving, and the pups were already captured. So, he fled to warn the Fireclaws about the attack.

Val cried. "Well... Maybe not everyone is as lucky... As you." Why did she have the bad luck to be born into such a pack?

Wild met her eyes and grinned, delighted at what he saw. "What do you wish me to do?" He asked slyly.

Lostlight ran to the Fireclaws pack.
"The Thunderfangs took Thornblossom!!" he exclaimed as he neared his pack.

Val wailed. "They'll hunt me down! They never forget, never forgive!"

Starless paused thoughtfully, uncaring about the loss. "So she thinks we care? Sentimental old fool."

"Her pups would be great warriors." Lostlight commented.
Bloodrose pressed against Lostlight. "Leave it be." she told him.

"BrightStar and I were being hunted by a wolf, but the Thunderfangs protected us. C.T protects every member of the pack. You'll be safe." Grayflood told the wolf. "Besides, what's your name? Mines Grayflood."

"I'm... Val," she sniffled, feeling a glimmer of hope for the first time.

"I can walk," he said stiffly, and got up. His left leg was badly injured and he had a limp, but otherwise he was fine. It should heal.

It only took a couple of words, and they accepted him. He felt like laughing. He was also rather tired. He yawned and went to sleep.

BrightStar ripped the rest of the dens, making them unusable.

"Sure, you can help." BrightStar laughed.

Thornblossom nestled in a nest with her pups, who were old enough to eat meat. Claw growled at every wolf, while Stealth went to sleep.

Claw growled back. "To me, you're the low lifes. I'm still part of the Fireclaws pack!"
Thornblossom flinched as C.T came close to her pup, but didn't dare growl.

Avi walked into the cave and dropped herself near a large damp boulder." its been a while since i was last up here" she said, observing the area in case there was a cave-in. "you still have to watch out for the other predators. it's likely this place could've inhabited a bear or some kind of mountain lion. she peered around a bit, taking it all in. "strange, its so wet in here. the air feels real humid..." she looked over at the boulder behind her."there's moss on almost every rock."

Patchfur was having a wonderful day.With Yelena and Kestrel gone,he had made himself the leader of Swiftstrike.But as he was settling down to watch the whipping of a few slaves that had tried to escape,a guard shouted,"Master!Behind you!Look out!"Patchfur turned around quickly and dodged aside nimbly...but not before the black wolf,who had caused so much trouble already,clawed him in the eye.

"well, I can provide an answer. Look. On the ceiling, there's a hole. Water is dripping in from it. There was probably a rain from up the mountain, and water drains into the hole. Sunstorm took a cautious lap of water. "It's fresh and clean. Huh. Maybe a stream drains into this cave?" he suggested. "Why don't we explore deeper into the cave?" Sunstorm said. It was more of a command than a suggestion. He walked into the black shadows.

Dusk jumped backward, but still was kicked in the chest.
Dusk growled, and retreated into the shadows, getting ready to strike.
