foxfur walked around the boring camp waiting for someone to talk to her,she went out hunting and stalked a shrew with keen eyes,then swooped her paw while snapping its neck with her teeth.she walked on,with the shrew in her mouth,and not smelling any borders,and accidently crossed the riverclan border without knowing.

"Silverpaw!" Icestar mewed, slowly getting up to approach the apprentice. "Are you okay? I'm sorry that I got the camp worried like that..." She coughed weakly, then managed a mrrow of amusement. "Not very good of me, is it?"

Fireclaw sat on the other side of the camp, tail twitching. Icestar had gotten better, but for how long? It wasn't like she had that many lives to spare... Then a warrior ran up to him. "Fireclaw, there are ThunderClan warriors on the border!" Fireclaw snarled. "They must have heard that Icestar was sick! Foolish cats!" He got up, fur bristling. "Amberfang, come with me. Get Pikepaw too."

Windpaw stared out of her den, eyes foggy. She hoped that Icestar would stay better... She got to her paws. "As a good daughter, I will visit her," she announced, but to the amusement of the other apprentices. "Don't catch a cold," Shellpaw teased.

"Catmint, Colsfoot, and Feverfew." Icestar replied. "Catmint for the whole green cough thing, Colsfoot to ease my breathing, and feverfew to simply help bring down the fever."

"Oh, Fireclaw!" Ripplepaw begged. "Can Silverpaw and I come too? Because if you're going and I'm your apprentice..." Ripplepaw wheedled hopefully. "And besides. Those ThunderClan mange-pelts deserve a bashing for crossing our borders! Don't they?" The blue apprentice bounced on her paws. "Please?" She asked again. "I'll fight hard!" And at that, she started chasing her tail, and caught it, just like a piece of fresh-kill.

"what u really need is some chickweed for the cough and some juniper berries will help you get your strength back."

"aannd im sure...me and ripplepaw could gooo with fireclaw to collect that!" silverpaw said giving a a mischieveous smile and a small wink to ripplepaw

"But I'm pretty sure that catmint's fine for greencough as well as whitecough, because that's the strongest remedy for coughing, and I think that peathingy petals are used for kittencough instead of coltsfoot. Coltsfoot is used to ease your breathing..." Ripplepaw's voice trailed off. What she did not know, is that she had learned that when she was still a kit back in LightningClan. The medicine cat was then Brownfoot, but he had died since then. "Um... Yeah..." Ripplepaw said awkwardly, as she had just contradicted someone who had actually had training as a med. cat.

"SHALLOWSTAR!!!!!!* silverpaw squeked with excitement as she dashed toward her old friend

Icestar twitched her whiskers in amusement. "I trained as a Medicine Cat, you know. I was before... Erm... StarClan called upon me to lead the Clan," she said awkwardly. "And Ripplepaw is right- Colsfoot is for breathing, since I was having trouble with it. Chickweed? Intestesting herbs, are they used often?" She gave a mrrow of laughter, getting up. "And Catmint is specifically for Greencough- don't waste precious catmint on the mild Whitecough!"

Fireclaw heaved a sigh, then flicked his apprentice's ear with his flame-colored tail. "Very well, Ripplepaw. Behave, though!" He started padding toward the camp entrance.

foxfur staggered to stay n her feet,she was very close ti the riverclan entrance,she kept going for some rason,then reached the entrance and fell right in frount of fireclaw,still breathing faintly.

"Yes!" Ripplepaw crowed. She raced out o the camp, only to come back in squeaking, "Fireclaw! There's a ThunderClan cat at the entrance!" And she darted back out and started pummeling the already weakened Foxfur. "Get out of our camp, invader!" She yowled, hurling herself at Foxfur.

Flameblight was startled by the yowl of Ripplepaw. Invader? Her ears perked up and she came running towards Ripplepaw.

"Is everything all right, Ripplepaw?"

Flameblight asked, her brilliant green eyes wide with concern.

she meowed. They padded to the border and saw Icestar.

Ripplepaw flicked her tail. "Let it go, Silverpaw." Icestar's had more training than you, but if you'd like, I'm sure you could go train with some catmint, or a mouse, stuffed in your mouth! Besides," she snapped. "If you'd been paying any attention to your dear leader, you'd know that she had blackcough, and that some plain old herb that grows by the river wouldn't have helped, and that some plain old herb that's in ThunderClan territory, your dear friend Shallowstar gave to us in return for saving her own life! Which you didn't help with, if I remember correctly." Ripplepaw narrowed her eyes, which were like chips of ice, and Splashpaw, Ripplepaw's accomplice, promptly stuffed the leg a a mouse into Silverpaw's mouth, and Ripplepaw shot Splashpaw a glare, with a twinkle of mischief in her eyes. Suddenly, Ripplepaw's ears pricked, and she scented the air, along with seeing a flash of creamy white fur on the other side of the river. "Scared to get your paws wet, FireClan?" She called out to alert the rest of her Clanmates, her whiskers twitching.
