He started to run. "Shallowstar!" he hissed. "What do YOU want?"Tigertail (brown tom, tabby tail) asked. He seemed troubled.

Dasiystar hisses. "Just leave!"Tigertail hissed back. "Calm down, Dasiystar!" This had been what he had been worried of: Dasiystar. She had been acting wierd ever sence she had Brokenfur's kits.

"Did they give you trouble?" Foxfur asked Nightstar, glancing at her kits. "Kits are kits, Foxfur. You can't ask for too much." Nightstar purred. Nightstar whisked her tail around, touched her nose to her friend's cheek, and went in search of Flamewave, the newest NightClan warrior. "Flamewave!" She called into the warriors' den. Flamewave came stubling out. "What patrol is it this time? I was on the dawn patrol, went out immediately on a hunting patrol after, and-- Oops. Sorry Nightstar!" He wailed. Nightstar purred. "It's OK. I understand that you're tired, but it seems I've overlooked a part of your training." Flamewave looked at her quizzically. "We're going to the Moonstone." Nightstar explained. "I'll get our herbs from Owleyes if you'll fetch the apprentices." As they argued, a lone kit stood atop one of the higher branches of a tree.She originally came up there in order to chase a plump squirrel, but was soon distracted by the quarrel. "What are they talking about?" She wondered.She then decided to take action and jump down there to ask them.However, painful memories of her parents flashed in her mind and how they treated her caused her to fall.While she fell,She had screamed loudly until she landed unharmed in a small pile of leaves.
