A golden tabby tom with a crooked mouth spoke up. "I smelt her on the way here. I think she was near FireClan border." he said.
Brokenstar purred at his yound warrior. "Thank you, Crookedmouth." he looked at Sunstar. "How about now?" he snarled, scaring most of the FireCla warriors. They never known him to growl or hiss unless he was in a war.
"Daisystar's death must've been hard on him," whispered a black tom.

"We, uh, are listening, Sunstar!" called a brown-and0white tabby she-cat, possibally FireClan's deputy. She had a tooth coming out of her mouth.

"With any luck, you all know how small our territory is. All the prey has left, and we are starving, with only a few cats well enough to hunt for the rest of us. We have suffered illness, starvation, and the grief of losing too many cats to StarClan in recent moons. I now ask that the Clans take mercy on us, and allow us to live in their Clans for... ever. LightningClan is no more."

Brokenstar nodded, as if understanding. "Sunstar, if you allow, I will allow your WHOLE Clan to join us, unless you wish to separate some cats from others?" he meowed.
Growls of protest sounded below.
A calico she-cat was lashing her tail, a Scourge-like tom had his claws out, and a wolf-like apprentice had blazing eyes. Every cat knew these cats were following Redstar.

"Sunstar!" Blackstorm called furiously. "I'd rather die than give up on our Clan!"
Bumbletail looked more uncertain, but nodded with his brother.
"Oh, Blackstorm, Bumbletail..." Ravenclaw sighed. "We may die together or you may die alone. Your own foolishness will kill you." she looked sadly at Bumbletail, who had become her mate only recently.
Blackstorm looked around at his Clanmates. Seeing no one, not even his brother who had been on his side only moments ago, wanted to come with him, he snarled and left, presumably to become a loner cat.

Nightstar looked on with interest. "We will take all cats who wish to join our Clan. Those of you who will join NightClan, make yourselves known."
Ravenclaw, Bumbletail, Blossomfall, Daisyclaw, and Bearkit padded over to Nightstar. Frogtail, Wolfpaw, Amberpaw, Sunstar, and Mousewing gathered by FireClan in a group.
But Willowface and Cloverkit stood alone, waiting for a Clan that might need two more medicine cats.

I hope that got things sorted out.

Wolfpaw(mine) looked at the new cats, and snarled at most of them,despite being only 7 moons old.
Maplefrost, his grandmother, lashed her tail again. "Come near me, you'll get clawed like Brackenleaf." she hoped cats knew that Brackenleaf, the cat who once loved Mapleforst, had been blinded by the calico.

[my] Wolfpaw gazed around at his new Clan. His eyes fell on another apprentice, who was smaller than he was, but was hissing at the former LightningClan warriors. He narrowed his eyes in return, and raised his hackles.
In response to the calico who had growled at them, Amberpaw spat back, "Lucky for you, maybe we won't. Too bad you'll be eating the food WE'll catch you." he turned his nose up, but stopped under a fierce glare from his father.

"It'll be fine." Mistymoon resured. "I can be a warrior when she's an apprentice. I used to train as a warrior before Jayfur and Stonemoon died."

Brokenstar nodded. "Very well. Would you like Mistymoon to take you and bring you to camp afterwards?"

(Did Stormpaw go to the Gathering? I think he did. LOL, if he didn't, he magically poofed here.)

Stormpaw looked at Nightstar with anger in his eyes. "What?! You're letting LIGHTINGCLAN join US? You might as well being Kittypets into the Clan!"

Brokenstar looked offeneded. "Listen, Stormpaw. You know as well as I do, I have kittypet blood."
He heard cats gasp, mainly his Clan. A leader wasn't supossed to announce that!
The broken-tailed leader ignored them.
"My father was kittypet. My mate is my father's sister, she's kittypet."

Willowface looked reassured, and she led her apprentice to-be over to FireClan, and sat down, holding her head high, despite many accusing glares. "Yes, thank you, Brokenstar."

Yep, he did.

Nightstar looked surprised that Stormpaw felt so strongly against the new additions to NightClan. "Stormpaw!" she mewed as she jumped down from the Great Rock. She circled him, and whispered in his ear, "They have no Clan, and the queens and kits will gladly welcome a home. Think of the power we could gain with the new warriors and kits added to the Clan!" she looked up at Brokenstar, hoping Stormpaw could control his outbursts. She jumped back up on the Rock, and touched her tail to Brokenstar's shoulder to apologize for Stormpaw. "I need to meet with you after the Gathering is over," she hissed.

Brokenstar has a new mate?

I'm still a slight bit confused, but I can at least have an idea of what happened.


Froststar huffed. Before she was able to lift her tongue to speak, all the warriors were claimed. The medicine cats too. Her clan was to face a time of deep depression soon, with a lack of food and healing. She felt, deep down in her heart, which was beating faster and faster, that something was wrong with Reddapple.

Reddapple tried to run, but her rusty joints were growing weak. The fox was closing in on her. It was an idiotic choice of her to go after Muddyfoot. He lead her off into unknown territory. Death was right at her spine, ready to bite down and take life from her.

"Star Clan, don't let Froststar fail now!"

Oh, sorry. Would you like any of the cats? Actually, I think the only one that could be spared is Oakleaf. Other than that, most of the ones in NightClan will die, so you'd have to ask @redstar-fireclan for some.

Nightstar looked proudly onto the new additions to her Clan, but in her heart there was a trace of doubt. Prey was growing scarcer, and cold weather was looming behind a dark veil of clouds on the horizon. 'How could I have been so foolish, to readily welcome such a number of starving cats into my Clan?' she asked herself.

A few warriors even turned their heads interestedly.

Yeah. We haven't had a gathering in forever, which throws things off. That's how we judge moon by moon in cat life. Gatherings need to be more often.

"Hi!" he mewed cheerfully. "Could you tell me a story?"
"Yea!" his sister, a black she-paw with a crooked jaw named Twistedpaw, purred. "Please?"
Brokenstar let out a purr of amusement. "Apprentices still act like kits about stories." pain started to form in his eyes. "I miss not having any kits. Mine are warriors now."

Pitch twitched his whiskers awkwardly, at the apprentices. "Uh, yeah sure. What would you like to hear about...? Oh, I know! Perhaps you'd like to hear about Blackhawk, the most feared Clan cat turned rogue of this era!" Several NightClan apprentices, tilted their ears towards him as he spoke.

"Oh, yes." Nightstar agreed. "Though I've never actually borne any kits, I did raise my sister's only surviving kit. Shadepelt. She is here now, talking amongst WindClan cats, I believe." Nightstar purred. "I remember when she used to pounce on my tail, only enough to pester me until I got the elders to tell her a story. She's so grown up now, and has even mentored Moonfrost."

Froststar watched as the other leaders began to converse back and forth about their hardships and whatnot in their own territory's. She didn't feel like joining though, she was the kind that would rather sit back, and not do the talking. She didn't want to admit that her own clan was suffering. Might put in the other clans' minds that they could go ahead and attack and easily take territory from them. She didn't want that to spin through their heads.

But neither did she like to be ignored. She guessed that this was how Shallowstar felt, and this was why her mother had attempted to take the clan from the forest before her and her kin were born. At least that was what she assumed.

Reddapple was cornered. A rabid, cat eating, fox glared and snarled at her. She was going to die. "Star Clan, just watch over Froststar." Then she realized her own apprentice would suffer; she hadn't taught Crowpaw everything he needed to know yet. He wouldn't be able to handle the duties on his own. She felt bad, but the fox grew closer, until she smelt it's putrid breath up against her skin.

Froststar looked at all the cat looking up at her. "Yes, I do know how gatherings go, I am not a mouse brain." She took a deep breath, and prepared to speak. "Things had been going well up until recently. A plague had wiped our prey source out, so we have had to resort to eating berries. But now our kits are malnutritioned. And, just a few sunrises ago, shortly after Shallowstar's death, Reddapple went missing. She had told me that she was going to tell Muddyfoot about his mother's passing. By any chance did Muddyfoot come along tonight, Brokenstar?"

Pitch nodded, and started to tell the story. "Well, once, long ago, there was a Clan cat named Blackhawk. He was a great warrior, but he was consumed with his ambition to become leader. He waited and waited for a chance to prove himself as he had many times over, but his leader would not make him the deputy. Fuming, Blackhawk hatched a plan to take over his Clan, and become the greatest Clan of all time, but it involved killing others that threatened his chance to become deputy and leader. Sooner or later, he was found out, and was exiled. Blackhawk then lived the life of a rogue, but was now intent on destroying the Clan that had dishonored him. He gathered vicious rogues and other exiles from all over Twolegplace, and led an attack on his former Clan, and nearly won, but with the aid of WindClan, Blackhawk and his cats were defeated. Blackhawk had lost the faith of most of his cats, so he thought of a new plan. He met a she-cat who was a great fighter, as he was, and fathered four kits. He told his mate to raise their kits, but they would have to fight each other to the death. The best fighter of the four would join Blackhawk and take over the forest. When his daughter came to him as the kit to be used to take over the forest, he pretended to be a good father. But sooner or later, he died, and the Clans were safe. Soon after that, NightClan joined the forest."
