As lightning struck and thunder shook the sky, Mielle was safely tucked into the cavern, next to Caspian and his mother.
"This is worse than any storm I've been trough." the female pup sulked, glacing sadly at the soaked wolves outside.

Mikki was too busy sorting out the shelter problem. Half the wolves could not fit into the caves. She ushered the sick and young into the caves and chose the strong and healthy to stay outside.
"Shadow!" she called out. "Go inside, you need it." she called out over the rain. The black wolf's missing eye bothered her. It could get infected in the cold rain nd would cause a problem. "Saphira, Damos, go inside too!" she offered curtly.

Kuroro watched wolves race into there dens, she thought about what it would be like to live in a pack. At night sarounded by the steady beats of wolves heart beats and there warm breath. She had had dreams of a pack, not going hungry ever and seeing pups run around playing tag. Thats how she had always imagined it.

She was thrust out of her warm happy dream world by the cold wind that blew into her 'borrowed' fox den. She looked outside and could see wolves from there caves. She wondered if she could be seen, she knew they couldnt get into the den to get her. She was smaller than most other wolves, only a little though. She watched all the wolves rush to there den's letting a silver spark light up from her pelt.

@ninjagirl don't worry. The alpha, beta and omega spots were empty tnere too, so Shadow can definitelly be Alpha. She's actually apporpriate for that position. She's helped the pack a lot! =)

Kuroro kept her head close to the opening so she could let the rain hit her nose. She looked around, there was alot of wolves already in caves. She could see blood being washed away and there where paws and ears every where. This pack must have been blood thursty.

Caspian cocked his head and snarled a tiny bit. ''They shouldn't be telling us what to do..'' he spat turning to the ground and his eyes gleamed with oncoming tears.

Cyra sighed licking her sons head ''We can't do anything..at the moment..'' she muttered.

Kuroro looked at the sky watch had become almost black and dull. She let the rays of the last spark of sun hit her face as a large storm cloud moved over it. Her pelt glittered like silver.

The sound of rain pounded down on top of the young wolf's nose. It must have began to began to pour when he had fallen asleep. A large golden furred wolf slowly heaved itself off the soggy wet ground. It yet out a loud yawn and stretched. Matthias' eye's fixed on something in the distance. ''What the?'' he muttered, his ear's going down and sniffing the air carefully.

Kuroro let a few drops of rain pelt her nose before sinking back into the small fox den, she could fit in prefectly because of her size, she was a little bigger than a fox but was a wolf all the same. She looked outside of the small den thinking it was somewhere she needed to be incase any wolf caught her scent.

Matthias suddenly sprang up and ran through the dense forest. Breathing heavily as tons of raindrops landed on his face he pressed on. Jumping over one final log and came to a halt. His fur soaked to the bone he shuddered as the cold overcame him. He sniffed the muddy ground as his paws sunk down into the soft ground. He looked at the dark skies as lightning flashed brightly. ''Humph..'' he growled and turned his head.

Kuroro looked outside her den. Something had fallen down, she guessed it was a tree branch or something. As she poked her head out of the den her muzzle ran into thick golden fur, she bounced back with a yelp only managing to hit her head on the entrence.

Matthias jumped back in shock. His eye's fixed on a wolf who seemed to be exiting their den. Matthias stepped back hoping he hadn't provoked the wolf into a fight. His ears went down and his tail went between his legs.

As the other wolf got up it seemed almost twice the size she was. Even though she was almost 3 years of age, this young wolf was larger than her. She sunk back into the fox den still wincing because she hit her head on the entrance. She scooted back to a corner making some room without a word.

Matthias seemed a little bit confused so he bent down and poked his head slightly into the den. ''Uh..I'm sorry for blocking the exit..'' he apologized silently.

Shadow stared as the wolves filed in, ignoring the young wolves offer to come into the cave and be safe. Her left eye socket twitched, she cursed Zhale under her breath. She prowled the dirt, searching for people needing protecting, for vunerable wolves, moonlight pack wolves.

She came across a small fox den not far from the pack, her paws padding softly in the gutter of which she once lay. There they were, two wolves that she had never seem before. She bared her teeth. She could take them. 'you two.' she nodded. 'Excuse me, but where are you from and what is your purpose here?' she asked, not rudely, nor politely.

@chapus2009 Well, the Shadow pack wolves went to sleep, Mikki led the Moonlighters to another den to sleep too. It's raining but the den is too small to fit all of the wolves so some are outside in the rain. spiritwolfs new charrie bumped into hay7199s charrie and that;s it.
