Fulvia nodded. He turned back to the window. Looking out, he seemed to be so troubled. He looked both directions, and then thought some more.

Kimbra winced. "Didn't you say... Luma was attacking today?"

Noctus smiled. "I think it's... hatching."

Yugana gasped as she saw a little nose come out the egg, "Noctus, go get Kimbra and Blue." she whispered.

Saria dipped her head and said, "Try and clear your mind, don't forget that Luma is attacking today, Fulvia." She then walked out of the room.

Fulvia nodded.

Noctus ran to go get Blue and Kimbra. "Come quickly," was all he said before running off again.

Kimbra and Blue ran after Noctus.

The egg started cracking again. A green head then popped out the egg. Wellan then cracked the rest of the egg. It was strange, since he had no wings, like Kaya. He then looked around at his familly. Wellan then jumped on Blue licking her face, happy to see his new sister.

Yugana smiled and chuckled. She then kissed Noctus.

Yoru yawned and woke up, he nudged Hoshi and they bounced over to Xale. Hoshi said quietly, "Xale."

Firan smiled at the little hatchlings and then closed his eyes once again.

Magia yawned and finally deemed it about time to go see the new hatchling. She walked down the hall and knocked on Noctus and Yugana's bedroom door.

Noctus was smiling, and so was Blue.

Until, of course, there was a crash against Sky Palace. It was heard all over the palace. It was time, and there was nothing to lose.

"Hold your stations!" Sashira called to the nearest dragons.

Magia opened the door and walked in, she smiled at the little hatchling. She remembered that she had been just like that four days ago. "Hello, I came to see the hatchling." She glanced at Noctus with a devious glint in her eye, "Now do you understand what I told you about surprises yesterday?" She then heard the crash and said, "They are here."

Saria was battle ready.

Magia looked at the hatchling and placed her paw on his head. She mumbled something under her breath and when she finished she said, "Wellen you have my blessing." She then turned to Mira, "Yes?"

Tashu, Kaji, and Firan rushed outside and got into attack mode.

Jalob ran outside his room and began to search for everyone.

Hoshi and Yoru quickly said, "Danger! To the safety room!" They ran to a little room that would keep then protected.

Xale had awoken at the sound of the crash. Well, she had pretended she was sleeping when her siblings tried to awaken her. She was alerted immediately.

Noctus was already calling orders. "Get all of the hatchlings besides Magia and Kimbra in the nursery!" he called. "Sashira, you take Firan, Unbrish, Tashu, Fengo, and Skylar with you as a patrol. Mira, Kaji, you guard the nursery. If you need help, YELL for it. Yugana, help transport the hatchlings to the nursery. Magia, Taso, and Fulvia, please, try your hardest to protect Sky Palace." He looked fierce and ready. "I'll go on your patrol, Sashira."

Sashira nodded tightly, looking to the dragons she was ordered to fight with.

Unbrish nodded, obeying every order.

Skylar did the same.

Fulvia nodded, raising his head. "I will die for the sake of the palace."

Saria listened but didn't hear her name called. She shrugged and got ready to fight.

Tashu nodded.

Kaji picked up Wellen and ran for the nursery. He ran into Jalob and motioned for him to follow.

Firan nodded.

Yugana nodded and then carried all the hatchlings in the nursery.

Taso agreed, getting ready. He walked near the door in guard. He put some magical armor.

Mira then went to the nursery.

Chasmos looked at Noctus, "What do I do?" he asked.

Noctus turned to Chasmos. "I don't want you killed on the battlefield... But if you feel you must fight, I give you full freedom to." He dipped his head and then turned to Kimbra. "Sense out the auras."

Kimbra nodded, and began to search the different auras. He spotted a ton of Shadowland warriors, and then a lot of the gray, dull aura colors. Nurons.

Sashira got armor for everyone. She offered some to Saria, as well. She wore her own, and then roared a war cry.

Taso saw some Nurons and Warrirs approach the Palace, "THEY ARE COMING!" he shouted.

Chasmos then saw the Nurons approach. He was somehow able to control his power. he then turned into his adult size and had the strenght of one too.

Mira counted the hatchlings, making sure they were all there.

Yugana was in nursery, trying to calm down the nurses who took care of the nursery.

Yoru and Hoshi smiled and walked out of the safe room. They walked outside and found there mother. "Hi min we came to help fight!" Yoru said eagerly.

Firan spun around, "Yoru! Hoshi!"

Tashu got into a stance.

Kaji frowned, "We are missing three and they all belong to Firan and Unbrich."

Magia got ready.

Saria roared.

Blue and Xale were in the nursery. Blue was trying to shove past Mira and Kaji. "Let me go!" she cried.

"Kimbra..." Noctus looked around. "You have to go out to the battlefield. Try to find Luma. It will be dangerous, I expect, so be as careful as possible." Worry filled his eyes.

Kimbra nodded reluctantly, before scampering out of the Palace. He began to search for Luma's aura.

Luma thought to himself, 'Ah, so they will obviously put up a fight. So be it. The only reward that awaits them is death.'

Fulvia was already putting up a magic barrier around Sky Palace.

Sashira, Unbrish, and Skylar were waiting for the army to reach. Sashira said, "We should fly overhead and lead an aerial attack!"

Unbrish picked up the two quickly, running them back to the nursery.

Magia said softly, "Be careful Kimbra." Her voice seemed small but then she began to use magic to make a force field around the castle.

Saria had shot upward and she gazed down at the battlefield.

Firan gazed after the three worriedly but finally turned around.

Yoru cocked his head, "Why aren't you happy to see us?" He asked as he was carried back.

Yugana stayed in the nursery.

Taso saw Luma and growled.

Amar was in his tower.

Chasmos stepped behind Noctus. He was now around the size of the great king.

"Just stay in here, children. I don't want you to get hurt," Unbrish said, nuzzling each of them before running back to the field.

Luma flew over with an army, bigger than the main kingdom and the villages combined.

Kimbra struggled to try and find Luma's aura. It must have been cloaked.
