Chasmos just sat were he was. He was munching on a table.

"Chasmos.... tables are not food..." Wellan said.

"But they are yummy!" Chasmos complained. He then started chewing the table again.

Wellan sighed.

Hoshi looked at him and said, "Chasmos, do not eat the table." Her voice was firm, "If you are hungry you will go to the kitchen and get something to eat." She wished that's he could give Chasmos at least the knowledge of a dragon his age. He knew about as much as a hatchling.

Jalob sighed, "The others will get over it eventually."

"Fine." Chasmos groaned, letting go of the table and walking down to the main room. He had a bit of difficulty walking, so he fell down many times. He finally made it to the kitchen and... he started eating a table again. XD

"Chasmos... What did Hoshi told you about tables?" Wellan sighed.

"Well, she told me to get something to eat at the kitchen. I'm in the kitchen, no?" Chasmos growled.

Wellan face-palmed and groaned, "This is hopeless... If only his father was here...." he sighed.

Wellan looked throught the window. The sun was going down. He remembered the area, took some items and flew outside by the gardens. He then walked to the river where he was supposed to meet someone.

"Why why.... I see you came. Wise choice." chuckled a mysterious eerie voice.

"Why did you call me here?" Wellan asked, trying not to be scared.

Then, an ugly, scared, purple masked dragon came out of the shadows, "My name is Altorus. That is all I can tell..." Altorus laughed.

"But tell me why you wanted me here!" Wellan ordered.

"Be calm my friend. I shall not harm you... unless you harm me. And patience. With time, you will get to know me."

"Awwww...." Chasmos groaned, letting go of the table.

"MEHHHH." Chasmos groaned before falling asleep.

"I just want to know why I came here! You know, I can leave if I wanted." Wellan growled.

"You could.... if you wanted your friends to die."

"What? Why would my friends die if I left?" Wellan said, confused.

"Technology Wellan. With the press of a button, I can DESTROY all your friends Wellan. Magia, Xale, all of them. You see, I have been watching the Sky Palace for a while now. You are... interesting Wellan. So much anger, so much revenge burns inside you my friend."

"Wait, how do you know my name? How can you just kill me friends with the push of a button? How do you know THEIR names? How can you hear us? For how much time have you been spying on us?!" Wellan said, freaking out.

"Questions Wellan... your poor little head is FILLED with them.... You see, I was able to go to the future... and lets say that I brought some 'souvenirs'"

UGGHHH. My hands hurt. T^T

"Souvenirs?" Wellan said.

"You see, I was able to put little 'machines' in each of your friends's bodies over the time. In their meals, by spraying it on them, in potions, in many other ways! With just the push of a button, I can kill them all."

"But Magia can stop them! O-Or even Amar!" Wellan said, afraid.

"No they can't. Unless they went to the future themselves and talked with the humans and get the solution. Plus, they will never find out. They will never detect it. They will just believe that you learned a new spell. Because these things come from the FUTURE."

Wellan was utterly shocked. He could not say anything.

"But! I have a deal to offer to you. All you have to do is work for me..."

"NO! I will NEVER work for y-"

"If you don't, say good-bye to your pitiful friends. But, if you never speak to them again, if you obey all my orders, if you don't try and attack me, then consider your friends safe. But even the minor attempt to talk to them about this, I kill them. And I will make you watch."

Wellan was just frozen in place. Speechless.

"So, do we have a deal?"

MORNING!

There was no sign of Wella. He had not come back. Neither was he at the river. Where was he?
