Vex raised an eyebrow and slowly stuck out his hand. The webbing seemed to make him a 'freak'.
Flashing a genuine grin, he spoke. 'Pleasure to make your aquaintince. The name's Vex' Glancing at the other boy he smiled, 'Sweet tat!', Looking up the stairs, he caught a glimpse of a girl sticking her head out the door.

Aizel's eyes widened as she saw the webbed hands.
"Wow!" she exclaimed and shook his hand. "Where did you get these? They're so cool." she said to him and then turned to the stairway.
"Come down Kat, he doesn't bite." she said to the girl.

Brendon looked over and flashed a quick grin and looked up at Katia ''Hey Katia you coming down?'' he said looking up ''Or will i carry you forcing you to come down!'' he laughed but he got a whack in the head from the witch.''Shut up you idiot!'' she barked at him.

Aizel roared at the witch.
"Cut it out!" she hissed at the large woman. She took Vex's webbed hand and Brandon's elbow and led them upstairs.
"I hate her." she said as she tugged Katia with her too. She glared at the woman as the witch went into the kitchen downstairs. Aizel huffed.
"It's better to talk away from her." she added

Vex smiled at Aizel, 'I was born with them, it usually freaks people out.' Nodding at the other girl, Vex spoke, 'Nice to meet you, uhh, Kat' The witch seemed to be floating over them like a an evil rain cloud.
The girl perceeded to come down the stairs. Her eyes widden when she saw his hands.

Aizel smiled back at him.
"We're not that easily scared of people and besides it's cool not freaky." she sad and pushed Katia towards him. "This isn't Kat! This is Katia but I call her kat to bug her." she chuckled.
"And I'll just wait for you to introduce yourself" she said to Brendon.

"Yeah. she's been beating Brendon since he was a kid." she hissed at the mentioning of 'she' "I haven't been beaten yet and I see that she's still putting up with my attitude but that won't be for long I suppose."

Aizel nodded in agreement, eyes full of concern.
"We can keep ya safe from her for a while." she reasured him "but that won't be for long. Let's go to the bedrooms and talk there." she said and headed in the room "Hey, you never told us why you're here." she said calmly and plopped on the floor next to one of the beds.

"She'll kill you if yoou do that again! Do yo want another beating this bad?" she asked him and looked him in the eyes with a frown. "If youre trying to kill yourself then I rather you jump out the window then get beaten to death." she told him semi-sarcastically semi-seriously.

"You don't get any schedule, you don't get the newspaper, you don't get to leave. That's how things work with the witch. " she said and sighed. "But we still have fun when she's gone. Although the fun will have to wai because yesterday Brendon got beaten cause of me." she told the curious bpy and dragged Brendon back into the room.

Katia got up and stared out the window. She could see the mansion from here, grand, majestic.. But now it was also old and decrepit....

She turned and grinned. 'cookies!' she cried. 'thank you!'
