After the lecture from his mom and being grounded for two weeks Lucas ran up to his room and slammed the door. " Awesome" Lucas thought to him self as he ripped open the letter he finally was accepted to Hogwarts like his older brother.

I run into the house excited holding up a letter with a lion, badger, snake, and raven on it. I rip it open and it say that I was been excepted. "Yes!" I yell, "Mom! Dad! I got into Hogwarts!" They congradulated me and say that we would go to Diagon Alley in a few days.

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

My eyes scan the letter excitedly. The term starts in a week!! We need to go to Diagon Alley! I've been there before, but I can't wait to pick out all of my supplies!

I peered out of the window one more time, to see the owl landing in my yard. "Mom! Dad! Chris!" I yelled, gently untying the letter from the owl's claw. "I GOT IN!" I shouted. "Congrats!" My family says, and I tear open the envelope to read what's inside.

Alex walked outside and sat on a bench outside her house. She was extatic that she like the rest of her family was excepted into Hogwarts.

I walk inside and mom and dad say that they can't go to Diagon Alley because they had to go to the Ministry of Magic. I nod and they hand me a pouch then tell me to go to Gringotts and withdraw some money. I grab it then get some floo powder, "Diagon Alley," I yell and step into the fire place. I turn and am almost instintly in Diagon Alley.

"I'm leaving," I call over my shoulder as I open the door and step outside into the early morning sun.
"Okay Cy! Check the post, will you?" My mother yells to me, barely audible because of the racket from the hairdryer.
I don't answer but yank the letterbox open, thinking we should get on of those flaps so you don't even have to leave the house to get mail.
There were four; Two business one's for mum, one letter from Sis- why the hell doesn't she just email? Isn't there any email in Egypt? And another one adressed to me. I look at it and think, weird. I don't recognize the handwriting, and it says "Mr," on it, and it's not from the bank. There's a strange seal on the back. I thought I'd seen something like that seal before.... I shrug and toss the letters inside, close the door and go out.

I walk out of the fireplace that is inside a pub and go to the back. There is a man tapping bricks on a wall. I wait and then the wall becomes an arch that I knew led to Diagon Alley. I walk threw and go to the bank. I go to a goblin give him my key and he takes me to a cart. From there we go on a roller coaster ride to one of the bottem levels, where they eep all the oldest pureblood family's vaults. The goblin opens the door and I fill my pouch filled with galleons, sickles, and nuts. Then he taes me back to the surface and I head to go shopping.

@cotton Thank goodness. X3 First person is so uncomfortable for me in roleplays. I feel guilty, like I'm putting more importance on my character than she deserves.

Phoebe awoke from a dreamless sleep to a tapping at her window. It took her a moment to realize what was odd. First, the hazy sight of her floral covers faded into view, and the soft scent of laundry detergent tickled her nose. The delirium of sleep faded slowly even as she noted through blinking eyes that the sun was not nearly as bright as it ought to be, and the sounds of her parents' bustling downstairs were absent. She did perceive a tapping sound, however, and a kind of rustling. It was coming from very close by.

Extending an arm out from her blankets, she plucked her glasses from her wooden nightstand. Their metal frame was cold to her hands. She unfolded them quickly and placed them on her face, sliding them up her nose with her index finger. Across the room, she discovered the source of the noise.

Phineas was perched on the windowsill, batting at something through the half-closed blinds. His paw produced a dull thud whenever it struck the glass, and the blinds rustled as he shook them. Noting that his owner was now awake, the cat turned to face her with his amber eyes wide. He meowed once, and returned to pawing at the window.

Is she a big personality or a small personality? Big How stubborn/easily swayed is she? Very Stubborn And to match wand wood, I'm going to need a more detailed explanation of her personality. on my application Does she like big, flamboyant magic, or careful, precise magic? Careful and precise How naturally gifted at magic is she? Very Is she particularly talented at any field (magical creatures, herbology, transfiguration, etc)? Transfiguration and potions Is she particularly adventurous? not really... How self-assured is she? very If you an answer all these, I SHOULD be able to match her correctly.

With sleep-muted curiosity, Phoebe crawled out of bed, tiptoeing across her carpet floor. (Her parents could have still been sleeping, and she wouldn't want to wake them up.) Carefully, she secured her hands around Phineas' body and picked him up, eliciting a soft "mrrow." After placing the cat on the floor, she tugged at the cord to pull up her blinds, and gasped.

Perched on the outer ledge of her windowsill was a large owl, with tawny-buff feathers and magnificent orange eyes. In its hooked black beak, it held an envelope with her name printed on it, and tied to its leg was a small box. It shuffled its wings and tapped its beak against the glass.

After a moment's hesitation, Phoebe unlocked the window and swung it open. The owl hopped in, perching upon the inner ledge of her window. It stared up at her with eyes like glowing coals, seeming expectant. Tentatively, she took the letter from its beak. The bird waited a moment longer before she remembered the box at its leg--she untied it swiftly, holding the small box within the palm of her hand. With a silent shuffle of feathers, the owl turned, hopped out her window, and flapped away.

Grace walked inside her house. An owl and her mother were waiting for her. Her mother simply handed her the letter. Grace took it and read,"Dear Ms. Valen." She read the rest silently. With a smile, she handed the two pieces of paper to her mother. "Can we go today?" she asked.

Clutching the paper with a list of supplies, Grace walked into the emerald fire and shuddered. She hated traveling by Floo powder. Her mother and father were waiting by the fireplace she walked out of in Diagonal Alley. "You can go home now, I've reached the right grate," she said in an exasperated tone. She smiled to show she wasn't being mean, just slightly embarrassed. Her parents exchanged glances and gave her the key to their Gringotts vault. With that, Grace's parents Apparated.

Grace trotted to Gringotts. She showed her key to a goblin and was showed to her vault. She scooped some Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts from large piles into a bag she had brought. She then proceeded outside of Gringotts. "Here I go," Grace said to herself.

It was around the time Jason would lock himself up in his room, which meant, morning.
During this time, he was reading a book when his mom knocked on the door.
"Honey bunches, you have special mail!" his mother trilled.

Jason sighed. These loser nicknames his mom gives....
Anyways, he opened the door and faced his mother with his best troll face.
Without saying anything, he snatched the letter and locked the door.

On his bed, he opened the letter.

HOGWARTS SCHOOL
of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Dear Mr. Jason Ebba,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

This was definitely a surprise.
"Mom, I got accepted into Hogwarts. I need to get supplies." Jason said as he opened the door. He knew his mom was listening, because she eagerly pulled him out of his room and down the stairs with all her might.

"Of course, silly!" Ella said to Hazel. "I also have Floo powder," she explained, pulling a small sack of the blue dust from her pocket, "Just take a handful and say the words as clearly as you can."
Ella and Hazel went back into Ella's house. "We're leaving now, mom!" She yelled upstairs. "Okay, be safe!" Her mother replied. Ella lit a match and tossed it into the fireplace, watching the small flame grow. She couldn't wait to get her new supplies.
Ella scooped some powder for herself and handed the rest to Hazel. "I'll go first, and you can meet me there." Ella told her. She threw her handful into the fire and watched the flames turn a bright emerald.
"DIAGON ALLEY!" She yelled. The feeling was instantaneous, and as unpleasant as the first times Ella had used Floo powder. She was high up in the air, flying, but more like a spinning top than a bird. Her body was yanked round and round, until finally, she dropped to a halt inside a fireplace full of soot.
Pushing her now dirty hair out of her eyes, Ella stood up and waited for Hazel to come in.

Grace checked the section marked 'Uniforms.' "We should be able to get all of these things at Madam Malkin's," she stated while pointing at the section. "Come on!" She started walking.

It didn't take long to reach Madam Malkin's. Grace pushed open the door to the shop. None other than Madam Malkin herself greeted her newest customers.
