"Yay, thank you!" Grace squealed. She bounded up the last few stairs leading to the guild. She stopped and looked at a grate in front of the guild. "What's this?" she asked.

"FOOTPRINT IDENTIFIED! Whos footprint? Whos footprint?" shouted a voice from the grate, "Uhh... The footprint belongs to..."
"HEY! Sentry?! Whats the matter!?"

"I can't read the footprint..."

"WELL ISN'T THAT YOUR DUTY?!"

"Well... I don't know what I don't know!"

"....Fine. Come in, you don't seem to be a bad Pokemon."

CRABOOM! Went the gate as it opened.

Grace jumped as two Pokemon began shouting below her. She gave a questioning glance to Electra before moving on. 'What was that?' she thought.

Sarah followed behind the duo silently as they entered the guild. There were a few curious glances from various pokemon as they walked along. Eventually, rumors about the newcomers spread like wildfire. The vulpix however, just decided to ignore them for now and ran to catch up with her friends.

"Haha, don't worry, it's like to check if you aren't a bad Pokemon. See, there are people underground, looking up at the footprints of people who walk on the grate." Electra chuckled.

Sarah frowned slightly."I don't see how that system is reliable...There are tons of pokemon who's footprint are almost exactly alike." She was about to add that looking at a person's, er...Pokemon's foot wouldn't exactly tell you if somebody was a bad pokemon or not, but decided against it.

Grace ducked her head as she noticed Pokemon watching them. She heard a Sunflora whisper to a Corphish. "Eek! Oh my gosh! New recruits!" Actually, it wasn't much of a whisper. Grace gave a weak smile.

Sarah yawned. Just following along quietly was rather...boring. She perked up her ears to listen to the rumors. The vulpix eventually focused upon an... interesting conversation between a Zangoose and Syther.

"Ya know? I feel sorry for the newcomers"
"To be yelled at in the face by Guildmaster's Hyper Voice so early in the morning. That's quite the wake up call."
"Yep. I reme..."

Sarah ignored the rest of the conversation as her face grew slightly pale. "Electra..." She paused to figure out how to word her question. "I couldn't help but overhear these two pokemon talk about the guildmaster using hyper voice on newcomers... Is this true?" The fire type asked rather calmly.

"Haha, it's just Loudred screaming in the morning to wake the guild memebers. At the beginning, it's annoying, but you get used to it after a while." Electra chuckled.

"Wait...We get yelled at by a Loudred in the mornings?" The pokemon had a worried look on her face. She had the right to worry. Loudreds were well known for being exactly as their name suggest.Loud. In her mind, the Vulpix made a mental note. "Note to self." She spoke to herself out loud, but not quite loud enough for any other pokemon than Grace or Electra to hear. "Wake up early to avoid loss of hearing."

Grace forced a small laugh. So many Pokemon looking at her was making her nervous. "Be sure to save me," she said to Sarah. "Um, how big is this place?" she asked Electra. It seemed like they had been walking forever. Maybe that was just because she was nervous.

"Sure thing Grace!"Sarah replied cheerfully. As she walked along casually without a care in the world, the pokemon bumped onto something. Looking up, Sarah saw that it was a wooden door. Rubbing her head with a paw, the small pokemon looked over to Electra. "Is this the room?" The vulpix asked.

"Yup. Hey! Here comes Chatot!" Electra said.

"Hello! I see you are the people who just came in, no?" Chatot said, "Now, you could leave, we have no time for sellers and advertisers." he chuckled, pushing Sarah and Grace up the stairs.

"Thanks. Now my eardrums won't pop," Grace said. She was suddenly pushed away by a Chatot. "Wait, hey!" she protested. "We're not selling stuff!"

"Then why are you here for?" Chatot asked, "Chatot, they want to train at the guild." Electra said, "Hohoho!" Chatot laughed.

Irritated by the Chatot, Sarah opened her mouth to burn him with a Will-o-Wisp as revenge. Fortunately for the bird, she thought better of it and just settled with sending a mean look at the pokemon. "What's wrong with wanting to become an explorer? In fact, How did you come to the conclusion that we were selling stuff anyways? I mean, what if we were pokemon in need of help? Did you ever think about that?" She glared at the pokemon while she waited to see his reaction.

Chatot then got angry, "Well! If you don't mind, I am the helper of the Guild master!" he shouted. "Fine, if you want to become explorers, follow me." he said, walking to the Guildmaster's room.

Grace had instant dislike of the Chatot. He was laughing at them! Electra and Sarah explained that they wanted to be explorers. Grace just shot a dirty look at him. Nevertheless, she followed him into the Guildmaster's room.

"Some helper" The vulpix muttered to herself as she stomped over to the room. Inside was a wigglytuff spinning around happily with a Apple upon his head. "Perfect Apples!~" The pink pokemon sang happily, oblivious to the four pokemon that entered the room. Sarah followed in the back with a very dark look on her face and small embers exiting out of her mouth. However, before Chatot could grab the Wigglytuff's attention, She quickly made herself presentable and had a lovely smile on her face as to not give a bad impression on the Guildmaster.

Grace's expression changed to a grin as she noticed a Wigglytuff. It was acting quite silly. She found herself fighting not to laugh. This couldn't be the Guildmaster, right? He was too childish. It was a bad first impression, in Grace's opinion. Of course, she was the one who had to make a good impression.

The Wigglytuff continued to spin happily until the Apple atop his head suddenly fell and started to roll away. The pink pokemon gave chase until it came to a stop at Chatot's foot. "Oh, hi Chatot!~" He sang as he grabbed the shiny apple. "I see you brought friends with you today! Care to introduce them to me?~"

Sarah stepped forward shyly and smiled at the Wigglytuff. "My name's Sarah! Its so nice to meet you! And these are my friends! I'm sure they can introduce themselves though."The vulpix turned to the other two pokemon and waited for their reply.

Grace slowly went next to Sarah. She kept a smile on her face as she introduced herself. "Hi," she shyly began. "I'm Grace." She ducked her head for a moment before standing straight. Her eyes flicked over to Electra momentarily as she waited for her to speak.

As soon Grace finished speaking, the Guildmaster turned towards Electra. "I see. And as for you Electra, There's no need to introduce yourself. You already did that when you first joined!" The Wigglytuff smiled as he picked up the Apple. " So what did you all need me for?" He questioned.

Sarah shuffled her feet as she looked up at the large pokemon. "I was hoping if I could form a exploration team...Is that alright?"

"Of course you can! You need to come up with a team name first though. And what about you two?" He asked the duo standing next to Sarah as he played with his bright red apple once more.

Grace struggled not to laugh. The Guildmaster was playing with his apple. Again. How could that not be odd?

Wait, was she just asked a question? Great, now how did she answer? Grace glanced over at Electra for some help. "Um, uh..."

"Grace wants to join Electra's team!" Sarah cut in, seeing how neither of the two were paying attention. "Also, I've come up with a team name! My team name will be...Team Pokesavers!No, Wait...I changed my mind. It shall be Team Moonlight! Hang on... Uwah! Making a team name's so hard!" The vulpix complained.

"Well then...Grace, if you want to join Electra's team, you two should talk to Chimecho as Electra already is part of the Guild. And Sarah, while you come up with a name, I'm gonna go and get you something. I'll be- Ah! Come back my Perfect Apple!~" The Guildmaster proceeded to chase his Apple to the back of the room.

"Well...He's nice, don't you think?Certainly a lot nicer than a certain Pokemon we all know." Sarah Giggled. "Now what would be a good team name..."

Grace nodded. "Chimecho," she echoed. "Right." She turned to Sarah. "Good luck with name ideas," she said. "Sorry, I've got nothing. Anyways, I have to go find Chimecho." She thought for a moment. "Where is she?"

"Somebody call?" A cheerful voice resounded with the slight sound of ringing bells. A floating blue pokemon then moved through the door and greeted Grace with a cheerful smile. "Ah, you must be one of the new Guild members!Why would you need me though?"

Meanwhile, Sarah was lost in thought when she suddenly jumped up happily. "Team Destiny!"
"Is that your final choice?" Wigglytuff asked as his head poked out from behind his Chair?(At least, I think there was a chair.Can't quite remember at the moment.😋)
The vulpix frowned back at the carefree pokemon and replied with a quick no and sat back down again to ponder about her team name.

"That works," Chimecho confirmed. "You're free to begin missions with your team."

Grace's eyes shone with excitement. She was quickly fitting into this world. "What should we do now?" she asked. Her fluffy tail flicked anxiously back and forth.
