Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: A New Life

The vulpix had eventually gotten tired of chasing the duo. Tired and hungry, she decided to actually explore the area a bit to see if she could find food or other useful items laying about. It wasn't long before she discovered that everyone was out to get her. Annoyed, the fox-like creature had decided to fight them all in a dead-end that she found earlier. After gathering the water types in the only place where she could fight one on one. The battles were easily won with the moves bite and dig used. Especially since she had gathered most of the Oran berries into a small pile next to her, allowing her to not worry about her health. After the fight, she walked calmly towards the stairs only to stop with her ears twitching. The vulpix followed the sound until she ran into a Bulbasaur. "Sorry!" she cried out.When she looked up though, the vulpix smiled at the group." Would you happen to need any help? I can help you find the stairs easily!" Although they had just met, the vulpix already knew that these Pokemon were trustworthy. At least, more trustworthy than the residents of the cave.

Electra was used to battling. Since she was already in a solo team, she was a good fighter. And she was a quick runner. Of course she would somtimes made type-attack effectiviness errors, but she was pretty good. Althought being solo was always hard for Electra to stand in the same beat of the others, since it the first time for many. So she had to wait many times.

Silverus walked in the dungeon, taking his time and collecting useful items. Then he finally walked on the last set of stairs and faced the duo. "Ohhh!!! A new visitor to rob!" was the Koffing's greeting, while he used Smokescreen. Silver ignored the smoke and used Force Palm, faintly clearing up the some and accidentally hitting the Zubat.

A few pokemon approached Anemone looking to block her way to the exit. She simply mud-slapped them a few times and they recoiled in defeat.

Being a water-type came in handy, she found out. She could walk across the water that covered the dungeon's floor. She went straight to the group across the water only to hear the words "stairs". "There is more than one floor to this?" She grumbled.

Of course!I was actually going to have her accidentally lead them through a monster house as a 'shortcut' to the last set of stairs which she actually cannot remember the proper path too...Well, there goes my surprise.😋Well then...What to do, what to do...I know!😃

The bright-eyed vulpix walked in a small circle patiently."Let me ask you this. Why would I be here in the first place if I were mean? Vulpix's don't normally travel outside of a volcanic area to a large beach filled with water-types just to bully others. At least, I don't think they would..."Without warning, a click resounded through the walls of the empty cave and a gust of wind blasted the vulpix to the other side of the room."Ow..." She moaned. The orange fox rolled over and twitched her ears as she heard another click. Within minutes, all that surrounded her was a cracked wall and ashes from an explosion. The pokemon herself was hurt badly. A sniffle had escaped from her and she cried out loud, "Why is it only when I actually turn around that these stupid traps appear where ever I walk!?" Ignoring the fact that she was injured.

Anemone lifted herself up on one leg, then the next. She knew this story of the cave was trying to push them out, they had been there for a while.

"Yeah, we are all good," she scanned everyone else who had also gotten up. "Let's just get your thinga-ma-bobber back, and quick too." Anemone thought about how far Team Skull had probably gotten; hopefully they weren't too far.

Grace felt an explosion push her back. She stumbled to the ground from the force of it. Urg.. Shaking it off as quickly as she could, she stood up. "What was that?" she questioned.

The vulpix panicked as she had quickly found that everyone was leaving. "W-Wait for me!" She cried after them, quickly collapsing after only moving a few meters away from the trap. 'Great. I left all of my Oran berries by the staircase and all I have with me is a reviver seed and a slip seed.' She thought to herself. The orange fox slowly stood up once more to follow the others after she ate the slip seed to walk on the watery path nearby that seemingly leads to the tunnel they traveled through.

Lily woke up on the beach. She was too tired to move, so she lay on the shore until she got hiccups. She stood up and saw her reflection in the water; she was a pokemon. After she bit her tongue to hold back her reaction, it didn't bother her at all. Deciding not to think about the fact that she couldn't remember anything, she started to look around.

The orange fox trudged along the unused watery path when she saw the pile of Oran berries she made. "I made it back!" She shouted happily. Her slow trot transformed into a run, only stopping once she heard the clicks that indicated a trap activating. Her face went pale as she looked down on the floor below her. On it was a picture of...a Chestnut? Suddenly, it started raining chestnuts on her head. Fighting to stay conscious long enough to reach her hard-earned berries, the vulpix mumbled to herself about almost learning a IQ skill that would've helped her avoid traps had she not lost her gummies. After swallowing one of the berries, she had realized something."Wait..." She started. She tilted her head to the side and asked herself, "Where am I anyways? Why is that star so important to me and how do I know this stuff about gummies, dungeons, and fighting?" When her mind drew a blank, she shrugged. "Guess I'll find out later..." And with that, the vulpix hopped down the stairs to meet with the duo that stole her necklace.

Almost immediately, Lily walked into a cave. She wasn't sure why, it just felt like the right thing to do. She heard a click and flew into a wall. "Ow," she said quietly.

Grace's question was never answered. Oh well. She
shrugged this off and followed the Vulpix, Electra, and Bobby. Hmm, what other mysteries did this cave hold? She felt like asking, but she feared that enimies may hear. Grace was quick and could pack a punch, but a well-aimed blow could deal some big damage to her. That wouldn't be good.

Lily heard someone shout and made her way up to the 4th floor suprisingly fast. She heard another click and fell down to the 3rd floor.
